What this company does is INCREDIBLY illegal.


Called my mother for a debt I have already paid (with verifiable proof), did not recite the legally-mandated 'debt collection' disclaimer (FDCPA violation #1), disclosed debt information to someone other than myself without express authorization from me (FDCPA violation #2), threatened to sue me without being an actual attorney (FDCPA violation #3).....thats 3 violations in a call that lasted less than 2 minutes!!!


I called the number they left, they wouldn't disclose the company name without me asking 5x.

I asked them to mail me a hard copy of their proof that a) they owe this debt and b) they legally own this debt. I know they could not provide this.

3 days later, I got a form letter saying they'd settle this 'debt'. Their proof was an obviously fake 'affidavit', with no notarized stamp, no written signatures, nothing. Just a word document with 'Affidavit' written at the top. This is out-and-out fraud, no question.

A person called from 631-755-3088 nationwide, proc.  asking for my husband’s ex-wife. They have been divorced for five years now. When I told her she didn't live here she then asked for my husband. I explained to her that they have been divorced for over five years and my husband is in the military and deployed. She explained that the ex-wife was involved in a legal matter and my husband was listed as her primary contact. I asked her how she got our information as my husband joined the military after their divorce and we had changed addresses several times due to military service and we live on a Federal Instillation and we had changed our phone numbers. He had not see her or talked to her in 4 years when we left his home state of Texas. She stated that they were calling her family members and didn't know that they were divorced. Seeing that they had no marital property and she was a minor at the time of their marriage, they had been separated for six months prior to their divorce and she had just turned 18 the month of the final divorce so no joint billing existed I was very alarmed. I checked out credit report to insure that she was not trying to put something on his credit and found nothing out of the ordinary so far. I explained to the person calling that I needed to know how they got our information but she could not tell me. I explained to her that if his ex-wife obtained our information it could cause issues as she had made threat against both me and my children. She then assured me that they don’t share information with the person they are looking for. Let’s hope not!

Called but left no message. I checked the number and found complaints here and elsewhere. Also checked Bud Hibbs:

Her name is Sara Levy.   They gave me a case number......thats Bull s***...they are b***s***.  DO not fall for this......its a scam.   Call the better Buissiness bureo.....I told them they were bull s***!!!! To...ans they said mam...there s no need to get rude...I said hell ya...when you guys take someones money there is.....yall r scamming

they said the same thing to me today, dont give into it.. they called me about 10 months ago trying the same thing but i went of on them & they didnt call me back or try to take me to court. so dont even let it bother u ma, just go off on them & they will leave you alone

I got a call from 631-755-3096 (PI PROCESSING), man just gave me a case# and said that this was a civil matter and I needed to call the following number 888-416-4980 and ask for Sara Levy. So, I was like I am sure this is a SCAM but, I called anyways. They never IDed the name of the company until I asked repeated times! Finally she told me that the company she was with is Credit Smart LLC. and that they were trying to collect a debt from 2006. Which I know of the debt but, I told her I didn't remember or whatever cause I don't give that info out on the phone. She tells me what I HAVE TO PAY AT LEAST 20 bucks today to stop them from filing in my "county court" a civil suit! What do I believe?? Pay them or Ignore them?! I personally think this is a scam and the SOL is over by a year at least. And I know if I pay something is starts all over as a new debt.
I also asked her how can they take me to court in this county, when this debt is not only from another state but, they are also out of state! She just said Mama..I don't know! So, I am really unsure of what to think! Any help would be nice :)

631-755-3088 has been calling, my sister took the call the other day. They said I had been listed as a contact for my ex-husband and wanted to know how to get in touch with him.  Hmm, I have been divorced from this man for 33 years, I think I smell a rat!  Obviously a scam!

Called and left a message that didn't identify the company, but gave a number to call: (888) 576-1260, which turns out to be PayStar International LLC (shows as "Nationwide," in the display). They're a collector that specializes in going after out of statute debt.

They are also going by the name of nationwide processing saying they are hired from your county that you have to call this number 888-282-5313 and give them the summons number so you want get served and have to go to court and the 888 number is Jacobs and Klein. If you are going to be served anything by your county why would the county hire someone in a different state to contact you. They can kiss my butt.

SCAM DEBT COLLECTORS.

This is a scam collection agency called United Processing.  They falsely claim to be a process server and leave threats about filing a lawsuit when they have no ability or intention to do so. Call back and demand that they verify the debt (they can't) and tell them to file their lawsuit so that you can file a Fair Debt Collection Action counterclaim.  In any event, DON"T PAY THEM A CENT!
