I just got a call from this number, but it was supposedly a call from the company I bought a car from. 631 is a Suffolk County (long island) area code, and I bought my car in Mass.

This phone number was given to me 2 weeks.  I received countless calls from some very angry people (don't blame you) yelling for us to stop calling them.  Turns out, Peconic Bay "spoofed" this number meaning- they use the number to put through on caller id from their phone lines to solicit business.  Changed my number now but feel bad for whoever is assigned it next.

yep...it's been constant for almost 2 months now...what can be done???

It's annoying, they call about 3 times a day.  I try to ignore it...but it's been going on for about 3 weeks, and when I do answer, there's nobody on the other line, just pure silence. How can I stop the insanity?!!
