These people (loik928@vtext.com) just TEXTED me with this message: [Call: 18664279861] Contact US Direct Express. Your attention is needed.

NO clue what that's about.According to a google search, US Direct Express is under investigation by Verizon (yes, I have Verizon) for phishing texts they've been sending using a different verizon number. So I'm assuming this is related to that. I hate scammers.

I got this text and went to Verizon To check it, Verizon said it was phishing.

Got a message like the ones listed, on May 23...Just a different phone number.    Contacted Direct Express
made a report with them.  Replied Stop to the Text.   Don't know if it's related or not.  On July 3 my account was emptied by someone clear accross the United States from me.    Hmm.  Now I have reported it to My Local Police, Direct Express, the company that allowed someone to use a copy of my credit card, Federal Trade Commission.  Next the U S Attorney General, Now Verizon.  The more agency's that have a report on this, the more and faster will these thiefs get caught.,

Received text message from 314941@vtext.com.  Wants me to call 631-789-6668  US Direct Express Account Issue.  Never had an account with them. I think it is a Phishing scam

Got message from US Direct Express saying my account is limited but the number this time is 631-789-6664.

Van Wert,Oh newspaper has a story on this today says "BBB reports new phishing scam" US Direct Express is a legitimate business but they are not sending these messages it is a scam. they are also using 646-524-1352 as a call back number.I guess alot of Verizon customers have  been receiving calls and messages.

Both my wife and I received texts on our cell phones from this number on July 17 stating that there was an "Accnt Issue". We did not respond since it looked like a scam. From the messages above, they it obviouisly were scams.

i got a text today from the same number: 6317894026, usdirectexpress...your attention is needed [53 32 48 XX] accnt issue.......i texted it back n said what acct and got no response. i kept conversation, but now that i see other people have gotten the same call from the same number im not responding again

I received this same SCAM message as did others from us direct express.  How do you get these scums to stop sending this crap to your phone?

I just got the same message around 4:30 p. m. today. I'm just curious about where everyone last used their card before getting that text message. (For me it was Meijers.)

ps. I just called US Direct Express (it appears to be a real company, not the one texting) and reported it to them with all the information, their phone number is 1-888-741-1115, a recorded message asks for information like others do, but if you dont put anything in and just hold you will get to a human without selecting anything.

got a text from the number 6245 @vtext.com (Us Direct express saying to call this number. I don't have any account with these people, seems like a scam to me. did not call

I just received this text on my phone that there is an issue and i must call 631-789-4026

I received the text from this number asking me to call them immediately.  I looked up the number using the reverse phone option on Freeality.com and it says the number is a landline belonging to Rosario D Taveras in Amityville NY.

Same text message from 440480@vtext.com from usdirectexpress acct issue.

Got Vtext from usde1@vtext.com regarding account number [53 32 48 XX], I am waiting for a final decision regarding benefits due to Epilepsy and Thrombosis, basically living in poverty, I got really excited, but it looked odd so I thought I should due some research first, as all of you, found out it was a scam! About had a major seizure that I fought off.  There is a web site for this purported company, assume they are just using the name to fool people, http://www.usdirectexpress.com/edcfdtclient/index.html#. I hope someone catches these bastarx"s!

I also got a text message from this number says (US Direct Express) Requests your attention,{53 32 48 xx} Accnt Issue didn't bother to call them . Would like to know how they got my cell number to text me since I am not part of a plan . I just buy a card as I need minutes.

I got the same message on my phone.  I typed in STOP in reply.   "To 440480@text.com does not exist. No such user here."

I got the same text and checked into it online. Apparently they tell you your debit or credit card is not good, and ask you to put numbers in. Don't even open it. I just deleted it. Makes me mad!!

text Your attention is needed with an account issue do not have any such account & the customer service people wanted my social security number. I didn't give them it but they said they couldn't stop the text messages they have no way of looking up phone numbers. I think it's a scam for sure.
