Posted my car on Kijiji on the 14th, got a text a few minutes later from this guy requesting  to contact him by email. I'm from Montreal, the area code from the SMS was 347 (NY)

I just received a text from this scammer :( damnit. I really want to sell my car... He text me at 10:15 mntn time which is what...1am his time....ugh.

I got the exact same text. He asked if my car was for sale. He also the final selling price and condition, said he would take the car. Asked if I had paypal and my banking info. He asked me to email him at kerryl_rushsr001@hotmail.com.

I just put my car up for sale and received a text from this number to email kerryl_rushsr001@hotmail.com.

A person left a message on my VM indicating that I can contact by email regarding the sale of my car.  I tried to email, but it kept kicking back at me.  I Googled the phone number indicated on the call display and found this thread.  It appears the number is from Bellport, NY.  Email indicated on the phone was kerryl_rushsr001@hotmail.com

Text message about my car for sale on Kijiji with a request for availability and response via email.  Follow-up regarding final price and condition by email (davidmathew001@hotmail.com).  Judging from the activity, I would suggest the next step is an offer for quick sale, bogus payment by PayPal with an agent to pick the car up for a "buyer" in some other province or state.  The amount of internet purchasing fraud is unbelievable.  I find it astounding that people do this day in and day out with no legal ramification.  Sick world.  Seller beware!

Just got a txt from 201-719-5059...weird because that shows up as a New Jersey number and I'm in BC clear across the country. Long way to travel for a $3,000 Civic hahahah Asked to reply to davidmathew001@hotmail.com

Same as above. phone number is 631-803-9845 and want info on my vehicle with email davidmathew001@hotmail.com.  Do Not Call List in Canada is about as effective as the gun registry, so sites like this are the only savior from these clowns.

Be carefoul I did receve a call yesterday from this number its a fraud to try by car with paypal.

Appears to be a car purchase scam.

This number is associated with the email address davidmath001@gmail.com.  This guy used to use the number 202-594-8012.  He tries to scam people who are selling items online.
