Don't bother waiting your time. My wide and I sat for 2 hours through the most boring sales pitch for cookware, like I was going to spend about $2,500 on some pots & pans. Signed up for the coupons witch I paid for only to find out that they charge you to purchase the coupons and to shop them. Biggest waste of time ever!

Are you that dumb? I sat through one today and they were informative but the jokes were horrible and they only invited people with master degrees or PhDs. They told us the price so the first thing I do when I had chance was look at prices. Every legit website across the entire Internet prices a set like the one scammers tried to get you to buy are $300-400. So if your spending $2,000 or $20 a week I'd say your an idiot for not doing your research first.

I happened to find them by registering through a bridal site to see if I could actually win something. Anyone who knows about sales and knows about sitting through a 90-minute presentation knows that you have to actually be a strong enough person not to be talked into buying their product because that is the PURPOSE of the presentation. They know that if they don't offer you someting in return, that you will never go! We were offered the 'Free' gifts, but what they didn't know was that I have been in sales for many years and know that they are very persuasive sales people giving the presentations, but I knew that I could handle it for the gifts as I did twice before in Florida and walked out with $100 cash each time WITHOUT purchasing anything. Were the salesmen happy, absolutely not, one of them actually turned nasty with us because there was nothing he could say or do to convince us, but it was worth the $100 cash regardless of how pissed he was, the same for this one. The gentlemen was sweet (that's how they develop rapport) and we sat through the presentation. He was sure we were going to buy because we acted interested just waiting patiently for our certificates for our gifts. After the presentation, to make a long story short, he tried everything in his power (which is what he's supposed to do) to sell us overprices cookware, but couldn't because I already knew what my intentions were of going. He, of course, changed his friendly tune, but gave us our certificates, one for a website to receive discounts, coupons for trips, shopping, etc. and the other was for 2 wedding bands which you have to pay $25 for shipping and handling for; I will let you know when we get those; we have the activation code and card and website to choose our bands, so it was worth sitting through this presentation just for that, but again, you better have tough skin because these people are trained to sell the pants off of you and that's why they are millionaires and can afford to offer these gifts because they make up that money from poor people buying $1500 pans in one show. I tell you, if I literally had money to burn, I may just have bought a set because of the the way he presented them, but since I don't, I'll stick to my cheapos.

hehehahahoho is a scammer shill. 800notes is a site where "you look up numbers you dont know and see what others said about them" AND where scammer shills like you ridicule folks who are too clever to fall for your scam.

"hold a credit card just in case there are any damages to the room" is false, the CC is to hold the booking and not for room damage. And what kind of rough and tumble hotel does Paul go to that holds CCs for room damage?
anonymous 2011-11-27 22:48:21 Unknown
Jack is likely a scammer shill.

Arlene called from 631 923-1739, but told us to call back 631 923-1740. She said my daughter had won prizes and that we received a phone call last week and they were not ino ur area again, but directed me to a website globallifestyles.com to look and see what prizes she had won, and the would contact us again when they would return to our area and how to get these prizes. From reading other posts from young brides, it appears to have begun from visiting a booth at the Desmond in Albany NY where the man was selling pot sets and had a drawing for a free prize. That is what the posts from the other brides said. It definately sounds like a scam.......

I HATE these scams!
Joanna from a "National Company" called, "you've won a bridal package!" She proceeded to try & sell me on my "free nights" at crappy hotels, 2 tungsten bands, a "passport to value", which was a coupon book to crap stores like Walmart & JCPenney, and a 20-40% discount for the housewares that this company sells. At the end of her speech (I couldn't get a word in), I told her I wasn't interested. I immediately, started to request from her that her company not sell, distribute or share my contact info with other companies, but she hung up on me. My calls back to this "National Company" have gone unanswered. There's no voicemail - just a robo-message from Verizon Wireless.

Bridal Scam
ss 2011-11-15 19:06:59 Telemarketer
Why do I want to deal with NY if I am in CA?
No bridal companies out here or anywhere in between----I am pretty sure there is one that won't bother me.

Same thing here, got a call 2 days after I'd attended a "Bouche Productions" Bridal Show, they said they had chosen my name out of all the registrants to get these excellent gifts. She described the gifts to me in such detail that it sounded like a sales pitch, and immediately I googled the number and found this site. I told the woman I'm not interested and she says "well what are we supposed to do with the gifts?". I said I don't know, and she said well we can hold them until you can make one of our demos (about the pots and pans as others have said) and I said I'm not interested. So she said she will be passing the prize package on to another couple.

So is shilling on the internet for this scam profitable? After all, nobody shills for FREE! LOL

my fiance and i went to this a few weeks ago and honestly we thought it was pretty entertaining. It was a cooking show they put on in a local hotel to demonstrate their products. The guy hosting the show and his wife assisting him were (or at least seemed) completely honest with us the entire time. He said that the three day two night hotel gift was something that the booking company gives their company to persuade people to come to their show. The booking company is hoping that by giving away free trips to young engaged couples they will want to book there for their honeymoon. They only ask for the 100 bucks so that they know you are going to show up and they don't loose the money they could have made booking that room. we havent tried to use it yet so we will see if it causes us trouble but the people running the show we went to were really nice and their products seemed nice too. They come with a lifetime warranty (which we got in writing when we purchased the products) and even though it is expensive there are payment plans. They even have a special plan for college seniors, and set up a gift registry for you so your guests can pay part of your balance for your wedding gift. Like I said we just went to the show and bought their products so we havent even gotten a chance to test them since they arrived, which I thought was incredibly fast for only paying a $100 down payment. Anyway that was our experience so far so hopefully that is helpful for someone!

I went to their showcase......Gifts are great and products were nice

Apparently these crooks pay their employees (if you call stealing "employment") to come on sites like this and try to confuse people into thinking this is legit, when it has not the slightest hint of legitimacy and is in fact a TOTAL SCAM.
I guess when they have trouble tricking victims over the phone because sites like this EDUCATE people about such filthy scams, they try to do it on here too.
Stupid desperate scammers!
Hey wait, it'a all FREE .... it's SOMETHING FOR NOTHING .. my bad so never mind BWAHAHAHA!

SHILL ALERT; BOGUS POST FROM ONE OF THE SCAMMERS.
c 2011-10-26 20:45:41 Unknown
Oh, go please! Scammers LOVE IT when they can confuse a sucker like you ... let them trick you out of your money before the next scammer does!
b 2011-10-26 20:43:06 Unknown
SOO, is it a scam or not?
Because, I just talked to whoever called me.. I said I would be there Friday (its only a 20 minute drive)
Basically, I've gathered it might be a scam, but might not.
if you take the 3/2 vaca, you're screwed..
what if you decide to take the wedding bands?
They can't screw you there, can they? it's a band they give you. I could get it resized anywhere, right?
Think I'll go, just to see what the hype is about..
and hopefully walk out with two free wedding bands.
if not, it's 90 minutes of my time gone, oh well..
i guess?
Michelle 2011-10-19 12:18:29 Unknown
I will not be calling them back, i really don't think it's worth our time!
