I live in CONNECTICUT... and I just received a call from this number and the caller ID said "New York" on it.  The man (or shall I said dumb@SS), on the phone kept asking for "the lady of the house". I knew something wasn't right when he kept giving attitude insisting for the lady of the house.  I then said "well since there's more than one, what is this in regards to?"  He replied "the chimney service" and nothing else.   With an attitude I replied "The chimney service from New York?!?!" and he sat there for a second with nothing to say and hung up the phone.  I knew it was a hoax because his voice sounded so unsure.  They wanted credit information so I'm sure they are getting worse with this chimney service scam.  I'm a state away why would I need chimney service from NY?  Again... Idiots.

Call came in a few times, I was not at home, but no messages were left. These callers must be some promotion people or perhaps even fraud.  There are a few bad remarks about them on the Internet. Please remove them from 203 353 0068.

Was this firm called Morningside Chimney?  I think they scammed my elderly mother and I am having their work inspected.  The firm was from NY - Long Island and she lives in Bethlehem.  I only have a toll free number for them and no one answers.

I had the stupidity of actually using these guys. Two 20-year old guys came and cleaned my chimney, or at least they spent enough time acting like they were. Then they tried to sell me on the refurb of the chimney inside, with the stainless steel stacks/tubes, yadda yadda yadda. They left but without putting the burner tube BACK into place, so I had carbon monoxide pumping into the house. I'm sure they did it to spite me (but not to my face). I was woozy all afternoon from just putting the tube back in place. Now I know that CO can kill you QUICK. Now THEY get offended when they call me for repeat business and I tell them that they botched it. DON'T USE THESE GUYS.

WHEN WE WERE CALLED AFTER 8:00 PM THE CALLER INSISTED THAT WE HAVE A CONTRACT WITH THEM FOR CHIMNEY & FLUE CLEANING SERVICE. WHEN WE ASKED THEM TO PLEASE STOP CALLING THE CALLER SAID HE HAD A CONTRACT IN FRONT OF HIM.(COMPLETELY FALSE DUE TO THE FACT THAT WE DON'T HAVE A FIREPLACE. WE DON'T PAY FOR ANY OTHER HEAT RELATED SERVICES BECAUSE WE LIVE IN A CONDO!)
I WOULD NOT BE WRITING THIS IF THE CALLER DID NOT CALL MY WIFE A F_CKING A*SH*LE. (NICE GUY, YEAH,THAT'S THE GUY I WANT COMING TO MY HOME!)

THESE GUTLESS B*****DS COULDN'T LEAVE A VOICEMAIL AND WHEN I RETURN CALLED I GOT A COMPUTER ANSWERING SERVICE THAT DIDN'T TELL SHE-IT ABOUT WHOM IT WAS.
