I live in Bay Shore and got about 20 calls in the last 3 days - all hang ups. I called them back & they Say it is the Suffolk Police looking for donations. I screamed "STOP CALLING"! Let's see if it works.

2nd day for me also - Called and said the same thing - I requested info to be mailed to be before any donations are sent (even though I wont be sending anything anyway)

Got a call two days in a row from 631-954-3198. Didn't answer the call, but I see there is a common theme here. If it were a legitimate caller they would leave a message or talk to you when answered. I might answer the next one and if they say they are PBA, I will call the Suffolk County PBA to report it.

This is some sort of scam. They also call from 631-954-3208 and 631-954-3216. They might say they're from the PBA. Try calling them and they say they dialed the wrong # and hang up.

I received a call and the young fellow said he was looking for money donations for the state police. I declined and asked to be removed from the list mainly because he thought I was stupid enough to give him my credit card number

I got a number of calls from Bay Shore, NY in January that I didn't recognize, so I didn't answer. No messages were left by any of the callers. All shared a common exchange, so based on the fact that other callers from the other #'s said it was telemarketers collecting for the PBA, State Police , etc, I will assume these #'s are all the same people or scammers depending on your point of view.

they called before - this time I called them back and they were so nice saying thank you for calling back - they were calling on behalf but I didn't give them a chance to finish - I'm on Do Not Call and sick of these calls - was n a good mood too - but told them I am on Do Not Call and they have no right to call me - her name was Dolores and she just hung up knowing she wasn't getting anywhere

2nd call from this exchange, with different last 4 numbers. I don't answer callers I don't know. Called from Bayshore, NY.
