Report fake credit "card center" and "better mortgage interest rate" scam robocalls to FTC.gov, just fill out their online complaint form. They take this seriously. Read their reports about the work being done against violators and nuisance callers. You can contact the FCC too. Also, search with Google, Bing or Yahoo for news articles on these topics. Also look at related consumer/customer complaint websites; though you should take time to sort out actual helpful public user-generated websites versus self-interested bogus sites. See also: "phone number spoofing" and "phishing."
Homer Simpson also started a fictional private security company with this area code, sometimes claimed as Mexican designation.

Odd, that sometimes the reverse number here pulls up a city and state, and sometimes it does not.

Called my home number at about 10:30 am. Credit card scam robocall, last portion of recording left on my machine. We are on state and federal do not call lists.

obviously a fake number, there is no 000 exchange, won't say what company they are with, probably a phishing scam.

I received a recorded message from Ann in Account Services -I hit 9 to talk with a real person - I asked what credit card this message was for and then told her we were on the "DO NOT CALL" list. She said "don't you be askin me what credit card company this is DUMB A** when you are on the do not call list. I said "I can't believe you just called me a "dumb a**" and she hung up on me. Its bad enough to get these unwanted calls - but now they are using profanity. I have reported many complaints about receiving these calls to the "DO NOT CALL" list and nothing seems to stop them.

I've been getting these automated robo-calls for weeks from "Card Services". I have a Bank of America Visa, so I called Bank of America customer service at 1-800-732-9194. When you call that number and reach a live human being, he/she answers "Card Services, how may I help you?". The person I talked to acknowledged that BOA subscribes to various 3rd party companies that make these calls to current and potential customers. He promised to put me on their "Do Not Call" list, though he also indicated that it could take 4 to 6 weeks for the calls to stop, since they use multiple calling services. Lovely.

I have had 7 call from this number over the past 4 days this week. The first time I pickup and told them not to call and I was told that I would be removed. It been 7 weeks now and still I get called. I want this stop now. But how ; the no call list does not work for me here. FCC does no good and I know that as I send them a notice.

got a call at 1:30 pm on 5-25-12 - did not leave message. how do the %^^*() idiots get our tel # when we have never dealt with them, why doesn't the donotcall list apply to these people. It is really annoying to have our phone tied up with idiotic calls.

I just got the same idiotic call. GIGI, this is not the place to ask them to stop calling, this is the place to vent your frustration that they did call and give others any information you might have to help identify the company so they can be reported to authorities. Until that can be done, if you have the "call screening" feature on your phone service use it to block this number. Usually, *60 gets you into that feature so you can add, delete, etc... numbers from your screening list.
