After getting 7 calls today with a dial tone within seconds of answering, I called back their 636 number and got some young punk that told me he did not believe me. Her was looking for a family member. In further research in Google, the number comes back to Central Credit Services, 70 Charleston Ct., Saint Peters, Mo. with a phone of 636-477-1400. Maybe if someone can get one ofg their home numbers the rest will have a field day in making calls to them and hanging up!

Spurious, and surly when attempting to "clear things up."  That is obviously not their interest.

After doing a great deal of Internet research, I finally seem to have found the right place.  Though I haven't been called repeatedly, luckily, I have had the misfortune of speaking to a "man" who is somehow attached to this number and company.  He tried verifying my information with a family member, but rattled off a combination of three identities all linked to the bill in question.  After putting a freeze on my checking account, I am now in the process of trying to find out how to take some sort of action against this company.  Not only have they mixed up three people who all have the same first name, middle initial, and last name, but he refused to let me speak to someone in charge (which doesn't help because the number here just leads to more runaround), refused to give me his name or I.D. number, lied and said he worked with the credit card company (though not a total lie, it is still misleading), and would not give out the company name, and he made it personal by attacking my morals (calling me a deadbeat) and my questioned my parenting abilities, claiming that I am teaching my daughter not to pay her obligations.  I will be paying this debt, but not to that company.  It is going to go to the original debtor, and those "people" at CCS can sort it out!

I just filed a complaint with the MO BBB.

calls me about 6 times a day for the last four days. When I answer I get nothing for about 30 seconds then it hangs up. I just called them they said the would remove my number from their list they were looking for another party do not know how the got my number?

Just in case you don't know, the "do not call" registry only applies to telemarketers, it does not apply to collection agencies or non-profit organizations. If you don't know who is calling, try calling them back and see what happens. That would probably be the only way to get them to stop calling you. Just a guess.

I've just received this phone number three weeks ago from Frontier Communication and already I get call after call for someone named fernando or carlos or something then the 6362000116 calls began one an hour so far i called the CCS talked to a representitive she seemed helpful until I mentioned I looked up information about CCS on the internet, upon hearing this I was immedietly transfered to a voice mailbox and hung up on

I got a call from this number according to caller ID . A male whose name was not said clearly called form this number.  he said he got my message and to call him back at 877-456-1108 ext 5263 and he will be there til 9PM eastern time...

YEAH RIGHT, I am responsible with my dept and do not owe any collections agengy. I would call them back and make them aware of their mistake but based upon the comments here, it doesnt sound like they listen.

Time to configure my PC based (homeseer) answering machine to instantly hang up on the caller when it sees this number.

I am getting really tired of these people at this number, calling and harrassing me and my family. The one time I answered when they called, he told me I had something turned over to them. WTF is he talking about? I asked him who the heck he was looking for and exactly why he was calling and he hung up on me... Rude A**holes!! This harrassment needs to stop, but how???

Recevied this call from a gentelman named Michael who indicated that a party with my name owed money to this company.  Calls from this number are computer generated.  Sounds to me like a scam.

Received a call from this number. Gentleman left a first name and wanted to discuss a matter. Have no idea who he is, and who he represents.

I received a call from these people as well.  They are a collection company representing several creditors of course...

these folks call 3-4 times daily and never leave a message.  this has been going on for at least the past 6 months.

THese people are calling my cell phone every hour on the hour leaving threatening messages to call them back immediately and then say "Good Luck" before they hang up???  No matter what you tell thjem they continue to harrase you.  They claim they ae from some attorney office BUT when you call them back they don't answer with a law firm name??

I keep getting this call.(Seven or eight times already!!) I waited for a while until I hear some voice, but silent. Very annoying. Can we do anything to stop this nonsence?

They called my house at 10:46 PM last night!!  I tried to answer but they hung up before I got to the phone.

Keep getting calls from this number. I have spoken to someone on a few occasions and told them that there was no "Susan" here. This is a corporate phone and we have no one by that name. They just ignore it and keep calling. They don't leave a message if I don't answer. So far they have called 5 times today and it is only 2:30 in the afternoon.

this number called me tonight.stupid me answers the phone.i get a very rude man asking me alot of questions.he even asked me if i had a checking account or savings account.apparently my husband owed a little over 4,000 due to a repo.this was the first time we had heard anything from this company.the repo happened over a month ago.i was trying to talk to him because my husband was out of town,i tried to talk to him about payment arrangements and he said he needed the full amount no questions asked.he even kept telling me that me and my husband had a checking and savings account.we do not! but he still acted like we were liars.we want to get this issue resolved but this guy was very fishy and rude on the phone.i told him that my husband would not be home until sometime next week.he said it would be too late and my husband would be in debt to the people he had the car repoed from,for the rest of his life.now i am a nervous wreck and that number is calling non stop.now i find this site and i don't know what to think?

I have been getting the calls for several weeks now. They never leave a message and I would occasionally hear a message with a loud reference number to mention when returning the call. I finally answered the call today 12-19-07 and a very pleasant sounding woman asked for my ex-husband who i have been divorced from for almost 13 years. My guess is that is it a collection agency knowing him.

keep recieving calls on my cell number regarding a man with the same last name as i have.  i told indiviual at that number that we don't know anybody by the first name and to please stop calling. the man got a attitude and said maybe it's your husbands family. i've been married 15 years i think i should know my husbands family by now.  the calls eventually stopped but started again. i called agency and spoke to someone who said they would take my name of the list. they seemed to be very helpful, but guess what the calls have started once again. i called very angry and spoke to a man named tony brooks a very rude person that i think i oringinally talked to and who questioned me about not knowing my own husbands family!  this jerk started being so rude i asked to speak to his supervisor and he would not transfer me instead he insisted for me to hang up the phone. i did call back and spoke to his supervisor mr.davis who said they would take my number off the list.  we'll see. i think the reason they got my cell number we had sold our house and choosed to just keep our cell number, but had our old house phone give our cell number for people to reach us. i'm very regretful that we did that.

Got call and couldn't understand one word they said, other than a loud case number. We don't owe anyone anything. I had better not get another call from them.

We are constantly getting calls from this number purporting to be "Mark Wade's office". The caller ID shows as CCS, which apparently is a collections agency.

Not sure if anyone out there knows how to stop these calls or who these people really are.  Next time I will record the call on my answering machine or any future calls.

I keep getting calls from this number and they ask me if the persons name they are trying to get is here.  They did name the two people by the correct name as being family.  I have told them they don't live here.  He always keeps asking me if I know how to get a hold of the two people he is looking for.  My answer is I don't know.  Today I got into an argument with this man and he got nasty as well.  I asked him to stop calling me as of 10-23-2007.  He claims to be from a collection agency CCS.  I have no idea what he is really up to.  I owe no one any money on my part.  He states that the two people he is asking for gave my name and number as a contact.  He agreed to take my name of the list as a contact.  Time will tell if he calls back again.  This is really starting to anger me and I don't know how to stop these calls.

636-200-0116 calls and no one talks. Reporting to consumer alerts and to the AT&T abuse line.  No reason for call and they are harssing.

Get calls from this number and others that apparently belong to the same company "CCS" -- a collections agency.  They call at all hours of the day, usually don't leave messages though sometimes they leave an automated message that begins half-way through the message and is basically unitelligible.  Once they also sent a text message "PLEASE CALL."  Am assuming they are trying to chase down someone about a delinquent debt that had this cell phone number before.  I am getting tired of the calls, but there appears to be no recourse -- I registered the number with the national "Do Not Call" registry, but from what I have learned, this organization notoriously doesn't adhere to any rules.
