Its telemarketers for education if you did an online job search or similar and started an application process they call and then farm your no. to others who knows how many others.

This number JUST called me and asked for me and I told them they had the wrong number and he said that they wouldn't call again.

Getting calls from all sorts of numbers daily.

These scumbags are hawking online education to people looking for work on various job sights.  These job sights make their money selling your sign up information.  The following numbers are all Career Institute & use the caller ID's 626-224-3117 & 618-224-0181 "CA One on One"; 737-666-9035  & 856-295-6867 "Edu Match"; 732-813-5605 "Classes and Careers".  If you don't pick up they'll call back 10-15 minutes later using a phone number with your local area code, always listed as "Unknown".

This number called my landline today at 12:04pm.  I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.  A legitimate business/school/whatever would leave a message.

This number has called me every day for the past 3 days. I finally answered it and they asked for me. I said this is her and they hung up! What are they trying to hack? can they really get information from my cell phone??

Fortunately I did not answer and checked the number here first.  I have been getting a lot of calls lately from all over the place and many are like this one.  Since they are calling my cell, it is very possible they may hack my phone information without me knowing it.  I hadn't thought of that.  Thanks all for your comments.  

no message left, called it back and got audit voice about college education. It ask if you want your number removed from their calling list. I did that, then a different calls my same phone of the same crap. IGNORING.

I have been getting calls every day always a different phone number is used. I have been blocking the numbers as I receive them.

Missed call.  Been getting lots of them past few days from strange numbers.  Clearly my longtime phone number was sold to telemarketers.

Called at 952 am and did not leave a message on answering machine. I did not answer the phone and have turned off the phone so I do not hear calls.

evening calls. no messages. just regularly calling.  got word are hackers so am not picking up, but constant calls.

calls from this number ......hackers at work...they try and keep you on the line and ask questions that have no
direction.

I received a call after 8pm but missed the call, I didn't recognize the number.

This number called me. The guy said  he was calling for the online  classes I signed up for. I told him I didn't sign up for classes. He rattled off a  number for me to call if I had any questions. I hung up.

Calls and hangs up after I answer.  I am on the do not call register.  Have called several times lately.

They are trying to hack you...dont answer or call them back.  if they make a connection they mine for information

I answer then silence. calls 2-3 times a day no message.
