Says the phone is a landline in Washington, MO.  Not sure why they call and hang up on me either.

I've received 2 calls in the last week from different numbers that are most likely related; This one, and (206)462-1791 (they never leave a message). I have had my number for about 4 months (AT&T Wireless), and just started getting these calls this week. I only call people I know, and rarely use my phone for anything other than talking to family and friends. I have no idea how these clowns got my number; I can only guess they're randomly generated. I never answer "Unknown" calls, or numbers I don't recognize, so they're wasting their time calling me.

I got the same call a hour and 20 mins ago. I missed it while in class but called it back and its disconnected already. Weird...

just got a call, I answered, was a pre-recorded sales pitch for lowering my credit card interest rates, which is now illegal, I listened to the message in its entirety.  It told me to press 1 if I would like to hold for a live agent.  I pressed 1.  A woman came on the line and rambled something about a credit card.  I asked her if she knew there was a law that was passed banning the use of prerecorded sales calls.  She asked me "Do you want to lower your interest rate, or what?" I told her that if I got another phone call from her company, I would report them.  She replied "try it" and hung up on me. So I just reported the number at www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov

Got call. Did not answer. No message. Call from St. Louis? Seems everyone is getting the same response.

I have a "pay as you go phone" too and I just got a call from them a few minutes ago but I didn't answer it and they left no message. Any area code that's not from my state I generally don't answer unless I know who it is and I've been getting calls from more than just this number that say "no number" or "unknown" and I can't call them back. Very strange...

I got a call from this number on my cell phone.  This cell phone is a "pay as you go phone" so there is no contract and nothing linking it to me.  I use it only for international calls to a few specific people.  Yet somehow I get a call from this U.S. number.  I believe they must use comptuer generated numbers, and not credit bureaus or anything like that.

Just called my cell phone!  I didn't pick up though.

called my phone and i said hello and nobody said anything back to me they stayed silent...i hung up and called the number back i Google the are code and it said Missouri very weird and strange and i don't want this number to call me again or Im going to report this to the police...this is how people get your information and start tracking you down and anything can happen...i take this stuff very seriously!

Called three times today and everytime I said Hello, they would hang up the phone.  The call is from 636-239-1518.  This was done on my unlisted cell phone number.

Calls everyday and wants to lower my credit card rate. Cannot call back number. Wish the sob was here, I would kick his a**.

Called at 9:34PST. Male voice said "Hello" and hung up when I said "Hello" back to him.

Called, said she wanted to lower my credit card interest rates.  I asked what company she were calling from and she said "Financial Solutions."  I asked where she got my number from and she said "the credit bureaus."  I asked which one and she hung up.  Anybody know how I can find where these people are registered?

Strange.  I was curious so I answered.  A male voice said, "Hello.  No one is available to take your call right now.  Please hang up and call back."  There was a female voice in the background.

They say "Hi" sounding friendly, then hang up.  I've had 2 of these calls now.

This jerk calls once or twice a day for the past week, says hello and hangs up.  We try to call back and it says the number is not valid or has been disconnected.

No idea who this is!!!
