Same call these guys are a scam and they keep calling my job. I am very upset about it but I know it is okay it is fraud

A person with an Indian accent claiming to be called David Bell has called numerous times from different telephone numbers claiming to want to talk to a Shiri regarding a claim.

Really annoying!

I got a call from this number at my work, claiming I owed money to a payday loan company ( which I have but all payments are made and current or paid off) and when I requested to be notified in writing of any debt owed, they began threatening me with a arrest warrant delivered to my employer, I told them I owed noone money or was past due on any money owed and they hung up on me.  Now the number is busy.  caller was Michael Clark.

Now the Shawn Andrews that is calling has told me that I better have an attorney because he "is going to make my life miserable" tho he totally mispronounced miserable. Still waiting for the heat to show up:)

Modern technology has given telescammers the tools to call you.
Since those telescammers are criminals, they ignore the Do Not Call list.
Modern technology can also protect you, if YOU do a few simple things!
The first thing to do is buy a call blocker device, service or app.
Then, use it correctly.

Google "call blocker" for more information.

If you cannot afford or use such a tool, then:
* Do not answer calls from unknown numbers ... let them go to voicemail or answering service
* Do NOT return calls from unknown numbers!  All that does is verify your phone number!  And, in some cases, those return calls may cost $20 or more to complete.

Had 6 calls in 4 hours. Threatening vms left stating that they are sending my file to my state and that law enforcement will be at my work in the next 2 hours with a warrant for my arrest. Had the same type of scam calls out of Cali and ore last fall. So rude

My wife is getting on her cell phone  threating phone calls about her owe money  via this male's phone number, that  is a/c 636 277 0246 The guy said his name was Jackson ( sounds like from India) with the Weber Law Firm.  He ask for her address to mail to, etc and if she had a lawyer.. Not sure what they wanted as she does not have any outstanding loans etc..

i got a call from this number to my job saying I was going to get arrested .. im so tired of these foreigners pretending ill get arrested last year I was told the same thing im  very upset someone needs to put these scammers in there place ..

I received a call from this number as well and it is a scam. They claim to represent a law firm and asked me if they could have the name of my lawyer and I asked them who the were they told me that there was a law suit being filed for my arrest for internet fraud. After I stopped laughing I proceeded to tell them that the call had been recorded and I would be sending the recording to my states Attorney General office. They called me a name and slammed the phone down.

Just received a call from these jokers, I called them back to advice them I was reporting the to the authorities and to lose my number.  When I called back they were rude with heavy foreign accent.

They say it's weber law firm last time I called back they were laughing and making jokes, this just ruins all the foreigners chance of ever becomin accepted in America I wish they would all go back. Has anyone found out if it's just the last four they have or do they have the whole social security number.

I am getting harrasing calls also - They are calling from a phone number inside the US.  There has to be a legal way to make them stop

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

Same thing as you all are getting they have my last four of my social some how and say I'm gonna get arrested. Someone needs to put a stop to all the crap they are foreigners scamming America it's no wonder the things happen the way they do.

They called back to back saying they were falling a lawsuit i hung up they immediately called back 4 times in a row and knew my last 4 of social. I hing up again and got 2 more calls before they stopped

This is a total scam! When I told the gentleman that called that I wanted off of his scam list he told me that I would be arrested. I wish these people would learn that this is not how we handle criminal charges in America. It is pathetic that these businesses are allowed to harass people like this.

keep getting calls 6 in a row yesterday and today finally got a message saying that since they havent heard from us the lawsuit is being forward to the lead attorney which will cause me to lose my job. Forein voice has to be a scam

someone named michael clark keeps calling my job my house cell phone saying that i owe them money. when i know i dont i wished they stop they r harrasing my co workers my children and husband about a matter that is fraud. please eveyone dont give them any of ur money or information its fraud!!!!
