For those of us with cell phones, there is a nice solution to these calls.  First, search online for a "silent" ringtone.  You can find one for free.  It is just several seconds of nothing.  Then, create a new contact, name it whatever you want (mine is IGNORE).  Link the silent ringtone to this contact.  Then the first time any of these bozos call you, add that phone number to your ignore contact.  You can add as many numbers as you want to any contact.  From that point on, when you get a call from one of them, you don't hear it and it is identified in a manner that allows it to easily be deleted.

Jetames is correct.  Nothing has stopped these annoyances for me EXCEPT having either a call blocking phone, or the call blocking feature with the phone company.   I have used the call blocking feature from my phone company, but it unfortunately will only let me block up to 30 numbers (believe it or not, I need about room for 50) and it also does not block calls that say "out of area".  I am going to look into getting one of these call blocking phones to add to what I already have with the phone company. Sad that WE have to pay our hard earned money to stop being annoyed!

I have had the same home number and the same business phone number for over 16 years and my home and my business lines (both published) seem to be on every call list imaginable.  I bought a Panasonic call blocking phone for my home and I bought a Uniden call blocking telephone for my business.

NO MORE PROBLEMS WITH TELEMARKETERS.   THEY CAN?T GET THROUGH!

We can stop these telemarketers IF we all buy a call blocking phone.

Telemarketer.  Inviting to an exciting real estate investment opportunity.

This number called then hung up on me.

This number called my mobile number.  NOT cool!

This number called, from Arnold, MO but was a robot call for some scam company wanting to put signage in my yard.  Probably a way to case the place.  Obviously, calls from this number are suspect and likely have criminal intent.

Number came up on caller ID with the name "Service Mssg". I called back and got a recording saying that if I wanted to be removed, press 1. The recording told me to allow 72 hours for my number removed. Here's hoping.

Some idiot called and didn't say anything. So I called the number back and got the message "This number is not in service"
