Received a call from this number a few moments ago stating they were from Bank of America and wanted to speak to the owner of our company. Our caller ID showed "Maritz Research". I told her I'm not giving out any information because they are a scam!

*Note: I keep a short cut of this website (800notes) on my computer desktop so I can quickly type in the number that is calling me to see if it's a scam. Thank you 800notes. :)

I am on the do not call list, how do they get numbers?  on other sites it says this number is a telemarketing number!!!!!!  I don't answer if I don't know the number.  No message left.

The caller is Maritz Research and they do market research for various companies, hence the different posts about different products.  They are exempt under the Do Not Call.

Thank you for posting the 800 # for the do not call list.  Will see if that takes care of it.

said hello, no one was there.  THEY CALL ALL THE TIME ! ! ! !   i'm tired of it.

They have been calling ask week lOoking but refuse to leave a message.  When I tried to call back the phone want even ringing.  DO NOT answer their phone call(s)

The scammers never sleep. Calling me. I gave my number to someone that was selling tickets to a concert and these calls start. SCAMMERS !!!!!!!

For the last three days, this number has called me once per day. It only rings once or twice before they hang up.

Called twice, left no message. Now on the 'Reject Call' list on my phone... Moving on...

Called at 5:00 pm on a Sunday. Didn't leave a message

Like so many electronic parasites, they all deserve to be picked off the skin of normal society and disposed of as you would any small vermin.

It's a customer service phone call.

Called asking about my Enterprise Rent-a-car experience. Completely satisfied.

This number is very bothersome and calls at the most the weirdest times.  I have heard it is MARITZ RESEARCH telemarketer for BOA.  Let me be I'll chose my own bank and everything else

Called at 9pm no voicema

We have had almost three days now, without ANY scam calls, which usually means that the scammers are changing out scam types, and the numbers that show up as caller ID.  Have never heard of BB&T... so they are now blocked.

Just got a call from this number: 1-636-373-9659. They said they call me from wells fargo home mortgage. Thanks God it got disconnected and I checked this number online.

Even if these people were legit--WHICH I DOUBT--why would any sane person want to discuss their banking experiences with a total stranger?  How the hell do we know some 18-year-old TM who's working for pizza money won't take your information and throw a party for himself and all his deadbeat friends?  Fact is, we don't.  Chew on that, Maritz Research.

The company from Maritz Research called my house all over again. I thought it was over years ago. Why do they make a comeback? They don't have better things to do beside bothering to ring my phone, but don't leave a message. Who gets a damn. YOU TELEMARKETERS NEED TO GET OUT OF BUSINESS!!!!!!!!! GO GET A BETTER JOB! STOP BOTHERING & MAKE PEOPLE MISERABLE WITH YOUR CON ARTIST WAYS!!!!!!!!!!!      

As soon as voice mail picked up, the caller hung up. Apparently, they did me a favor!

The number is for Maritz Research.  I recently changed my home telephone number & only gave the new number to 4 people.  The new number is a magic jack number.  Suddenly I started receiving these calls on my new number, twice per day.  When I changed to magic jack, Verizon demanded my new number & refused to disconnect my old number until I gave them the new one.  Since I received calls from Maritz when I had a Verizon home telephone number I'm pretty sure they added my numbers to the lists they sell to telemarketers.  Maritz claims they are not a telemarketing service but they are just as bad, if not worse.  If you listen to the recorded message when calling them back they provide a number to call to be added to their do not call list.  That number is (800) 864-8601.  I just added my number.  I hope they remove my number like they say they will.
