Call in my VM - says his name is Brian Stevens and that we spoke last week. (We didn't) He found a program to reduce my credit card payments, as I'm only paying the minimums now (I'm not - no cc debt). Gave a cal back number of 888 442 0881, but my caller ID came up as 636 947 7830.

I got the same call

Got the same call (message) on my vmail. It was cut off but the caller ID was the same, that I could lower pmts...yadda, yadda, yadda. Left the same 1-888 # that didn't return any search results. I'm not calling back.

This number called me, a man said "Um, hi" but did not respond to me when I spoke.

I received the call with this number on my caller id and a different number to call back 1888-442-0881. A woman answered and i told her she had the wrong number. She then asked for my number and apologized. she hung up quick before I could get any other information out of her.

Same crap!!  I called the 636-974-7830 # and got the sound of a fax machine.

I had the same message with the same numbers. He gave no name though.

I also got a call from this number this morning with "umm hi" and he hung up...I did not call back

same thing with me... answered the call and it said "Um hi" but did not respond when I spoke

Guy seems to be getting around, all these reports are from today. I got a call too a few minutes ago, guy said hello after I said hello 3 times, then nothing else... Very annoying.

I just got the same phone call from 636-947-7830 with a guy that said umm hi then I talked and the line was silent.  The phone call was to my cell phone.  I am in Ohio. How in the world did he get my cell number.

I had the same experience. "Um, Hi" and nothing else!! Total scam!

same, no c c debt whatsoever, got call, for a second it though it was a gas bill thats like 2 months overdue but it wasnt, so its fake.

Yeah Same thing! Caller ID Got a call from 636-947-7830 to call 636-947-7830 to lower rates as I Agreed for minimum payments on my credit card. WTF! I have no more cards! SPAMMER!!!

He called me on my work phone.  my v-mail message is about a minute long so i missed the first minute of his recording.  he just talked about me making minimum payments, which is false, and how this is his last courtesy call, but i never received a first one.

Got a call from a guy saying his name is Steve something...said he can lower my interest payments. I called the number back and spoke to a girl. I told her the guy called me and I never spoke to him. Before I hung up, I asked her what company she's from. She said she's from,"Debt Relief Center" and asked if she can help me with any credit cards. I said no. The whole thing is suspicious.

So here's the real poop.  I worked for the company these call are coming from.  The services they provide are indeed legit (non-profit financial services).  Above board and when they work, they work really well to help with reducing and paying off credit card debt.  The problem is the method they use to get you on the phone.  Robo call, leave a message that induces you to call in.

In summary:  Great product, lousy marketing.
