who is this? 638-000-9382 - a recorded womans voice claiming that it's important regarding my credit card and that there isn't a problem but that I have to hurry and reduce my interest, "push 9" ... etc. Come ON!!!

Guess I'm their latest target? They have called at many different hours & sometimes late at night, which I thought was illegal? On "Do not call list" but don't seem to affect this company? So I'm gonna mess em up a bit next time they call!!

"Cardholder Services" called to "lower interest rate on credit card"
This is an unwanted call, we are on the national do not call registry list.
Call was received on 11-8-10 at 10:33 am.
Person kept pretending they could not hear me when I asked twice for our phone # to be removed from their calling sheet and for us to not be called again

Called with that # and said nothing wrong with my credit and press 9 for operator to get rates as low as blah blah blah recorded message. Im on do not call list but i just hung up. Said it was urgent.

The call goes to voice mail, but they leave no message. Also, it doesn't ID on my phone, but I get a voice mail email that lists the number, through my carrier.

Got a call purportedly from "Rachel at Cardholder Services". Obviously a recording. Said there is nothing wrong with my card but it was URGENT I respond to lower my interest rate. Second such call I've gotten (although last time it was from a different phone number calling to my other phone).

Call said, nothing wrong with your card, if you want to lower interest rate dial 9 for an operator. Said they were from card services. Guy answered and said how can I help you. I said you called me. He hung up the phone.

I subscribe to the national do not call register, yet continue to receive calls such as this.
Rec'd a call from unknown source which the caller ID noted as 'Out of the Area'. It was one of the many calls regarding my credit card - not to worry, there's nothing wrong with my credit card at this time, blah, blah, blah. It was not from my bank, as they always identify themselves, so who are these people trying to continually get you to switch over to them?
