i think it was a collection agency or something that said i was being sued... they had my name and my last 4 digits of my social security number, then they asked if i knew a carla krants (i'm not sure if the last name is correct) and i told them i didnt know who that was. then they put me on hold and hung up, so i called back and talked to someone else who looked up my number and asked if i knew carla again and i said no, then she said dont worry about it and ended the call.

said i owed a debt and they were getting ready to file court papers.... they even had the last 4 digits of mt soc sec number...

CALLER SAID THEY WERE CALLING ABOUT A FRAUD CASE USING MY NAME AND MY WIFE'S SS NUMBER. THEY ALSO SAID IT WAS SOME CRA COMPANY. SAID THEY HAD A DOCKET NUMBER AND WERE TAKING IT TO COURT. THE CALLER WAS VERY RUDE. THEY WERE VERY PUSHY ABOUT GETTING INFORMATION.I FINALLY HUNG UP.
HOW DID THEY GET OUR NUMBER SINCE IT IS UNLISTED?

SARCASTIC IDIOT SAID IT WAS CRA...I SAID ARE YOU SAME COLLECTION AGENCY CALLING FOR TIME FOR THE LAST 4 YEARS.  HE THEN PROCEEDED TO THREATED ME., THAT IT WAS REALLY ME FOR LOUSY CREDIT. AS I GOOGLED "CRA" IT IS A FRAUDULENT FIRM FROM UK TRYING TO SCAM US OUT OF MONEY

Got a call from this number this morning.  What happened to the call screening system I signed up for?
