got same vtext message to call 641-456-6285. Is this for real?

text saying it was wells fargo and my card was frozen, called and they wanted my card # ssn birthdate etc. this is an identity thief hopefully he will be in jail soon.

Exactly the same as Jonathan.  Text came in at 3:24PM Sunday the 9th.

I received a text from this number last night.  Figured it was a scam when asked for personal info!

Got a text  that appeared like this: "(Notice) Wells Fargo Call: 6414566285" on a Sunday night.  I don't bank with Wells--looks like a phishing scam to me.  641 area code is out of Iowa.

I got a v-text just like all the rest.  They can take a flying leap!  I am not falling for it.                     Solution: "Delete"

Text message to call number.

I called it from my home # and it says they are my banking service and there is a problem with my debt card. they then ask you to enter your 9 digit social security number.  Total scam!!  I called the 800 Wells Fargo number and they said it was a scam.  DO NOT CALL

This is a SCAM. WF does not ask for SS#. THIS IS A SCAM... DONT FALL FOR IT!

Called the number and noticed that one the automated system sounds like siri from the iPhone and two that they did not state my name or Wells Fargo. Do not let this fool you! Definitely a phishing scam!

Same text msg sent to me. I don't have an account with Wells Fargo.

Got the same text message. Obviously a pfishing scam. I don't have a Wells Fargo acct. Blocked the number. May have been born at night, but it wasn't last night. These people need to get real jobs and leave those of us who work our a***s of alone.

Received a phone call from this number. The caller left no message.

Received a txt message to my phone from 1-641-456-6285.  Mine doesn't statement Wells Fargo it just says Wells issue.  If it was a good txt they would give you information.  Wells Fargo would not send out an txt like that so don't call or respond.   Probably worth calling Wells Fargo and report it.

I do not bank at Wells Fargo.  This is clearly spam and a waste of my text allowance as well.  Please put a stop to this SPAM.

Got an alert message from 1004@vtext.com to contact this number, signed Wells Fargo.
Similar message from 125@vtext.com asking me to call same number.
Both look like phishing.  Called Wells Fargo, they did not initiate this.
