Received a call from this number stating they had received an error message from our Windows Operating System. I asked questions about the version, and he just kept stating Windows Operating System Audit sent them a message. When I finally explained this was a business after his attempt to find out how many computers we used, he apologized and hung up.

I received a call from 643-006-8881 the caller had a very strong Indian accent   The caller knew my name and my phone number bot too surprising in this age of information. I had to ask him to repeat things often because he was very hard to understand.  I was informed that I had a virus on my computer and was told to turn on my computer and they would help me.  I was told to go to the teamviewer website.  I asked what version of windows was I running that had the virus and he told me the "slow running computer"  I informed him I had 5 computers and I needed more information to identify the problem computer.  I asked what was the virus and he said it was malware and a trojan that showed up last week and he tried to contact me but I was not available. I asked where the call was coming from and was told India.  I eventually hung up on him and he immediately called back sent him to vm.

642-006-8881 They called claiming to be from Microsoft and that they recieved an error message from my computer. I ask which of my computers and they said 'The one you use the most'. Righhhhhhht. I have 3 but was only online with one. So I played along.  Then they directed me to a remote access site called www.teamviewer.com so they could log onto my computer!!!! My Computer is 10 days old all adware was professionally removed and my software professionally installed with a current version of Norton Anti virus. I told them to take me off their list.

Received a call from this Number...gonna see how many times on my Vonage logs. Said
she's with Crystal Tech Services. She says that I got an error message from my registry and they can help me fix it. They TOLD me to open up my browser and share out my computer using TeamViewer"  FREE account.  I never got any such error and hung up before the conversation went any further. I told them I didnt' trust them and requested some other sort of verification that they were who they were claiming.
She said "thank you" and hung up. CLEARLY a SCAM or lousy Sales pitch.

Some Indian man called me and said "there is a virus on windows of your computer."  l said, what, who are you and the name of your company.  He told me windows.  With his accent, I could not fully comprehend what he was saying, but could tell he was using his accent deliberately.  I've never heard of a "Windows" company per se -- it's Microsoft and Microsoft is not going to call you.  I hung up on him and he attempted repeatedly to call.  This is some kind of scam.  I think they are trying to get information because he kept telling me to turn on my computer, which actually frightened me.  I am going to report this number and phone call and maybe make a police report.  I began to wonder if it was/is some kind of threat.  This man's main concern was for me to turn on my computer.  I asked him why/how could he know if I had a virus and why would he be concerned and that he could be anybody.  He kept telling me "I from Windows, this is how we know."  Who exactly do I report this to?  I will be contacting Microsoft.  Please when you see this number come up on your phone -- do not answer and check facebook and see if any others are receiving this "odd" calls."

Whatever you do, don't accept service from these knuckleheads. I have told them three times not to call me again, and they keep doing it.  one more time, and its a report to the BBB.  They claim to represent microsoft, but I believe it's a sham.  Even if it's a legit company, as their website would suggest, i still dont trust it.  It's definitely a sales pitch, and a very poor one at that.  I deleted all of their information on my computer, because the service that they do sucks.  the software that they use is horrible.  It says something about "erasing your privacy" every time you start up the computer.  I was not happy about that.  I did not receive any viruses or anything, which is good, but still.  I'm tempted to call Microsoft directly and ask them if they deal with these bozos.
