I ve received multiple calls from this exact number with the same guy asking about my computer. I told him not to call back. When I decided to look up the number on the internet just now i found this blog. these people are a scam! for sure! Who do we report them to?

said they were receiving error messages from my computer and they needed access to fix it.  told the foreign accent "john" that i don't have a comper and to stop calling me.  jerks...

Got a call from someone who sounded "Indian."  Probably from Cleveland or Atlanta.

Called me all kinds of names including "Custar."  

Wanted to know my waist size and IQ.  Told him it was none of his business because this sounded like a scam.

I recieved a call from this number telling me that my computer is running slow I told him thar is in possible since I am on vacation and haven't had the computer in for a month now. Same story here: received an unsolicited call from a guy with a heavy Indian accent who claimed to be Computer Support and wanted to be allowed to log onto my computer because I supposedly had contacted them about my computer running slow. I knew I had done nothing like it and was, of course, not crazy enough to let him do it. He did know my name, but then, my phone number is listed, so that's not a surprise. I'm also on the Federal Do Not Call list, BTW.

The same number, but different crooks called again twice more within a week, so I guess I was far too polite with the first guy. Don't waste your time with them, hang up.

I get calls from this number all of the time. when i call back there is no response. when i answered the call it was someone with a foreign accent

Got a call fom 645-781-2458 with a Caller I.D. of  ----------------------------.     The caller said his name was 'Edward' from the 'Computer Maint. Dept.'      Said he was following up on our call for 'PC Support.Request.'  TOTALLY FALSE  .   His accent distinctly as if he was calling from India from:
645-781-2458   That's a spoofed Caller I.D. used by a Telemaketer criminal.   HUNG UP!

I received multiple calls from this number with different company names. Always with the same "I/We have a report your computer is running slow". One of my local TV stations recently ran a report about telephone scams where the caller was stating they were calling with "reports of your computer running slow". They would get people to install software on their computer. Later many of these individuals had their identity stolen. Long story short, if you did not initiate a computer related service call, hang up. Then go to www.donotcall.gov and file a complaint. Do this each time you get one of these calls. The more complaints they get the more likely the government will take action.

They are scammers using a variety of tactics to get your personal information and credit card info.

Please people repor these calls to the DNC list and other appropriate authorities.

Never give out personal information over the phone. NEVER EVER. These calls will continue fromo a variety of number, same people different scam. They are desperate and relentless.

Received a call from 645 781 2458.  Accent of Indian man, telling me his company received notice that I am having a problems with my computer.  As I contract with an Indian company that fixes my computer, I
thought it may have been that company.  He stated his company was TSA.  I deducted he was not from my company, we decided he should remove my name from his listing, as I received a call from them several days ago.  We hung up.

Got a call (no id) that my computer was running slow from a guy with an east Indian accent. Knew my name but I sensed a scam. Said he was with TSA, I told him he called a business line and he hung up immediately. I checked here, and sure enough it appears it's a scam. I'd never give out any info to some idiot.

I got a similar call from 645-781-2458 saying "he had gotten a report of my computer running slow."  He knew my name.  Similar accent, etc.

I just received a call from this number.  The foreign guy "Kevin" said he was from the IT dept. and that they detected a problem with my computer.  I asked where he got my number from and he said from their records.  I then told him I do not have a computer.  He hung up!!!

I just received a call this morning from 1-645-781-2458 "Name Not Found" on my caller ID.  It was a woman with a heavy Indian accent saying she "has received reports of my computer running slowly, is this correct?"
I knew right off that this was some type of scam and decided to play along.  "Yes, it is", I replied.  She then asked if I was the primary user of this computer.  I said no, they aren't home right now.  She paused for a few seconds and said she was sorry and would call back at another time, and hung up.  Even though I was the primary user I guess the correct response would've been yes just to keep her on the call.  I like keeping these scammers on calls as long as I can.  I never divulge any personal information.  I just feel like the longer I keep them tied up on a call with me the less time they have to try and scam someone else.
Please call back, whoever you are, I want to waste more of your time.
Then I immediately googled the phone number and got on here, saw all the posts, and decided to contribute my story.  
Beware out there!  Like an earlier post states, no one will call and tell you your computer is running slow.  Nobody!   As an employee of a major communications company I worked on DSL/Modem problems.  If someone's computer is running slow they will report it or try other methods to clean it up themselves.  
If someone does call you...it's a scam!

There is no way to stop these individuals unless you know who they are. Telemarketing scams are the new spam. People should never ever ever give out personal information over the phone nor should people fall for the most obvious of scams.

These criminals are looking to hacking into your computer and stealing personal and financial information. Sadly, it works. Many fall for it every day and have their whole life rearranged financially and have their email outbox full of unwanted sent messages from these scammers.

No company will ever call you out of the blue to ask to fix your computer and use common sense. If you can't call them back or get personal reliable information from them, guess what they are scammers. If they want to check your computer, use your computer to check them. But keep in mind, there is no company that calls to fix slow computers.

REPORT TO THE APPROPRIATE AUTHORITIES LIKE THE FCC AND/OR State Att General's office.

Please report the calls to the appropriate authoritites. Telemarketing scams are on the rise. and common sense, NO ONE WILL CALL YOU REGARDING A SLOW COMPUTER.

Warn others and just beware, you will recieve a lot more calls, once they have your number they wont stop. It is a criminal network looking to steal personal and fianacial information.

I just got a call from this number claiming that I called about a slow running computer.  I said I had no idea what he was talking about because I work for one of the major computer laptop/desktop companies and that I had 8 computers in my possession.  I could barely understand this foreign speaking individual.  He finally said okay I guess we can't help you.

I've had several calls saying my computer is slow and that they can fix it.  I asked finally asked for his number so I could report him (I don't have caller ID).  He wouldn't give it to me, so I hung up and did *69.  It was this number, but the area code is not valid, so how can he be using it?

Just received a call from this number - guy sounded Indian.  Said he got a report that my computrt was running slow and giving error messages.  I told him I did not send any report.  He said it is computer generated.  Again, I said I did not report any issues - he then hung up.  Sending this number to No Call line.

I received the same call.  And have received it numerous times.  How can we stop this?  There should be some way to put these creeps out of business.  I have blocked the number, then they call through on another number.  These are identity thieves, I believe, in addition to being annoying.
