The guy calling me said his name is Eric Scott. I talked with the AG here in TX and the FTC. They said that this is a scam and that the best thing to do is get any kind of information that you can get about them but never confirm anything about yourself and then contact the state attney general in your state as well as the Federal Trade Commission and give them the info you were able to obtain. Do not give them the time of day. They said the only way to get them to stop calling is to keep hanging up on them and hope that they eventually stop calling. Since they are not a real company then the do not call list sdoes not do any good. Dont worry about what they are saying. Firstg of all if the loan company themselves have not contacted you that is your first sign. Also the fair lending laws say that it is illegal to threaten someone with jail or arrest when trying to collect for a loan.

I JUST TALKED TO THE STATE ATTY. HERE IN PA. THIS IS A SCAM JUST HANG UP ON THEM AND REPORT THEM TO THE STATE ATTY . IN YOUR AREA

these guys very hard to understand, said i had a law suit against me saying i got a payday loan . i asked gfor paper work to be sent to me because this was the first time i had heard from them..they were very evasive when asked to provide proof....they keep calling me with different amounts ... they cant even keep there stories straight.. report them to the proper authorities...

The guy was very difficult to understand, but his name is Mike Anderson.  He left a voice mail saying that I have a lawsuit filed against me and my social security number.  Scary stuff, but I see that it's a scam!  Ridiculous!
