Person is impersonating a police office, do not give him any information.

This idiot called my job and harrassed me about a bill supposedly I owe from several years ago that I don't even remember what it was for. Then called my job again and spoke with my manager who advised him that it is against the law to call someone at their place of work.

I told him to email me the case information and then put my husband on the idiot.

WTF is wrong with these people.  I can't believe these people know my SSN, email, addy and whether or not I've ever been arrested.  I know I'm clean and right when they accused me of check fraud was when I knew they weren't legit.  After they read me the affidavit and asked me what I was gonna do, I told them I was going to call the police department which took them a while to respond.  I told them yes, I want to resolve this matter and see what the heck was going on and there's no way I was paying them any money today over the phone.  After that the guy made a smart comment remark like "shut up" or something and hung up the phone on me.  How do I stop these people from calling my work place and me?!  Anybody know?  I'll go the FTC route and hopefully that'll solve the problem but it would be great if anybody knew off hand.   Thanks! =)

Called me and left a message stating I wa being sued.... Something about a payday loan i didn't even get an amount. He did give me a legal case number read me a alleged affidative and asked me how I wanted to settle. I said I'm giving the info to my attorney and I would see them in court. He froze up and didn't know how to respond so I said thank you. have a nice day.
Funny how all three people i spoke to had the same indian accent.

Called my office and told me that I owe a payday loan $3500 and that I can settle it for only $450.00.  I told them I don't owe any payday loan anything and to give me the name of the company so I can call them directly but they would not say.

The scary part is they know my ssn.

Person alleging to be "Steve" called dunning me for $250 which he said I had borrowed via an online loan appilcation. It was nonsense, I reported it to my local police department as an attempted scam.

they still keep on calling i told them to leave me alone and to stop calling me.and they said some bad words which i think that is very mean for a so called police officer(investagtor)

I  too recieved a call from Officer Rogers- who happens to be Jack Justice as well! He had said I owed money that I don't owe, and said I would be arrested. Then he really crossed the line and started with Sexual advances. I am calling local FBI. They are scamming off a local number here that doesn't work.BEWARE

Received a call from this number at work from a Kathy Rogers stating that I am being investigated for 3 counts against me for fraud and what not. She then stated that she was calling for the state of NY and that it was for ACS and CashnetUSA, I explained that no payday loan was ever taken out. Kathy Rogers then threatened that I would have to go to jail if I didn't abide by their requests. I am reporting this to the state attorney. Its unfortunate that they have all my information. I want to stop them.

I have received several calls from "officer Rogers". I hung up on him when he called me a liar. He called back and left an obscene message about what he would do to me, my wife, and my daughter. I saved the meesage and reported it to the FTC. Hopefully a law enforcement person will contact me on this.

i have received threatening calls from this number. they have continued to call and harass me.

I recieved call from them.  Lawless, do you know for a fact that they are impersonating a police officer??  I gave no info said do  not call back.

i received a harrasing call from a gentleman at work. he threatened to have me arrested if i did not pay the money.

I received a call at my job left on my voicemail from 646-289-8296 stating he is Officer Rogers attempting to notify me of an action against me, states he is trying to contact me to notify me so that nothing happens to me and so I won't get hurt.  I did not respond to the call as I know without hesitation that no action against me exists, particulary one that would result in some "hurt" being inflicted upon me.  I hope we can find the caller(s) as these types of calls are clearly against the law, false impersonation of a legal official as well as what could be clearly deemed a threat.

Also received a call, threatening that im going to be sued for something that my bro-in-law did.

I received a call from this number also and he told me he wishes me good luck if I dont pay him and he was going to get me fired from my job. I hung up on him and told him I didnt understand him because I did not owe anybody anything. I didnt even catch his name but now they keep calling. I wish I could get the police involved some kind of way because this is a fraud!!!

received a call stating he was mark nickols and he was calling about $4000.00 I owed thanks to a check of the number I foud out it was a scamm

I RCVD A CALL FROM A MAN NAME BRUCE NOHAN @ MY PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT STATING HE WAS FROM THE FBI CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION UNIT AND I HAVE UNTIL 2PM TODAY TO RESPOND AND IF I DON'T RESPOND I WILL BE GOING TO JAIL.
I JUST TOOK A MESSAGE AND CALL RIGHT BACK NO COMPANY NAME WAS GIVEN. (HE HAD AND INDIA ACCENT) SAME MAN THAT HAD JUST CALLED ME.

I returned a call from the number  voice mail was left saying there was a legal case against  me.  When I returned the phone call. no one would give me the name of the company  or what the matter was about.  Guy said his name was steve thompson which was a lie. ( He  had an indian accent )  Just made threats about a legal matter/lawsuit. told me phone call was being recorded but still would not tell me what it was about.  vague threats . aggressive..  the 646 289 8296 belongs to a private residence.

I just recieved a call from the num. listed.  From a steve thompson  with threats about a lawsuit  aganist  me. With threats . anger and rudeness.  however he would not give in info to what this was all about.   I  an filing a police report .

Got a call and was threatened to be locked up and I have no idea who or what this is. Really had me frazzled but I talked to several friends and now know this is scare tactic by bill colletors. You can not be locked up for this. Thank God I have real freinds to talk to.

RECIEVED A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER AT WORK SAYING HE WAS CATHY ROGERS. MY BOSS TOOK THE CALL AND WOULD NOT PUT ME ON THE PHONE CAUSE HE WAS OBVIOUSLY MALE SAYING HE WAS A FEMALE. SAID IT WAS REGARDING A LEGAL MATTER. I DON'T KNOW IF THIS IS LEGIT OR NOT BUT I AM NOT PAYING HIM DIRECTLY. I WILL WAIT TIL MY NEXT BILL.
