It's illegal under 47 USC Sec. 227 for these organizations to use a computer or automatic dialer to send a non emergency, phone call or text message to your wireless phone without your express permission.

Period. Without Question. The statute provides for damages of $500 to $1500 per call, per text. Simon & Schuster, Portfolio Recovery Associates, Burger King, and Sallie Mae are all caught up in lawsuits in the tens of millions of dollars for these violations.

k everybody please read this as i may have cracked a code with these guys. I read all the post below and one is a whois with the owners possible info? I have not checked yet but here is what i do know...
...i have had a new number for six months that NEVER gets spam or telemarketing and then BAM, all of a sudden I get 3 different numbers texting spam for 3 different Companies within the same hour!
This did not happen until the day after i got wierd texts from a guy pretending he had a wrong number but then wanted all my info??His number is 717-961-1674, claims he is ADAM Bean. Maybe a conicidence. Either way I think these 3 companies are owned or linked to This America60 loan garbage! 1) 213-210-8370 / America60.com cash loan texts
              2) 312-532-2941/ mystery shopper texts which say to call 888-408-1754
              3) 860-634-1822/claim3.com texts stating they give you free gift cards..................
Whatever you do NEVER REPLY STOP TO A BLIND TEXT UNLESS THEY ALREADY KEEP SPAMMING YOU....sometimes it is a way to "get" your number on a list, they are sneaky but there are more of us than them............please post back if you find out anymore about this.

Received two messages today from 704-550-7763 and 325-513-9367 with the same messaging.  I reported this to the FCC both times.  Hopefully they'll actually do something

every five minutes for the past three days. am on the do not call registry. as mentioned, verizon will do as little as possible to stop this guy. have contacted the fcc twice to no avail. will be calling my representative in congress as well as the bbb.

I recieved a text message from 213-447-9721 an there is never any money deposited into my account.

I am having the same problem. Please report them to the FTC - all go to webpaydaylending.com.  There is another name and web listed here too. We need to report so they pattern is clear.  So annoying!!!!

Google or yahoo search text spam. Someone out there has figured out how to block text spam. Also check your providers web site. Verizon offers free blocking based on ph number or web address.

I DO NOT WANT YOU TO TEXT MY PHONE ANYMORE!!!!!  I have texted back STOP ample times and still keep getting the texts at 3 and 4 am in the morning...  I have also went to the site and unsubscribed and I am still getting these texts.  The numbers that text me constantly and I try to call back are 646-318-6043 it says F@@@ You on the voicemail and 646-288-3718 no answer full voicemail 646-251-5908 is another number I am receiving the same texts from.  I am reporting these as harassing.  STOP TEXTING ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I DO NOT WANT OR NEED A LOAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I am sure you don't want people waking you up when you have to work seeing as though your offices are only open Monday - Friday 9-5....................................

Stp calling my cell phone with these unrequested telemarketing offers. I don't want your services.

Do these message boards count for anything? Like...do they count as actually filing a complaint? I received a text from this number earlier and I was pissed off because I keep getting them from random numbers, so I blew up the guys phone until he was forced to turn it completely off. Then he sends me another one at 10pm tonight. I reported both incidents. This is ridiculous. The other day I had to actually call customer service for one of the numbers to get on THEY'RE do not call list...as if the national do not call list is irrelevant. Smh.

I also received a text from this number in the middle of the night which read "Need Cash? Up to 1500 fast!" I'm reluctant to text stop as this might make it worse.  I have to pay for each text message so this could become very expensive, very quickly.  

This is the 4th text I've received in 24 hours but the other ones came from numbers reading "581-42" and "577-11".

Is there any way to block these if the number changes every time?

I had clicked on prizes and car insurances both on fb and google and received the text from surveys i did and was supposed to get the gift cards the text and gave gift number and i gave address and cc for a one time 2 dollar payment for processing then the  rep repeating the info to me 5 times stating a one time fee and the info would be discarded from the system the call back number is 877 340 7201 and after they transferred to a mgr verification rep she began acting strange and they then prompted to send them back input on the services their company had and if i chose to want services would be 19.99 a mth but not until i gave input and contacted them again i refused to authorize and hung up. After the initial contact they contacted my line since i contacted from work they called back to that line 7 times screaming for me to authorize and those threats i will have investigated along with the whole company if any purchase made to the cc info for the 2 dollar process fee..

Look at the bottom of the message and it will tell you how to opt out. You can also block them on Verizon's website as well under safeguards.

Got my first text from them today... though it seems they have changed their website to: www.credit600.com I suggest reporting them to Google for spam, malware and/or anything else you can think of.... Also, the phone number to the Whois Info above no longer works.... Also, complain to their Registar ENOM, Inc here:  http://www.enom.com

I got a text from this company about a loan i got hung up on twice and then got the voicemail to be told i needed to leave a message for f*** you it is a scam dont give your information

YES I GET THE MESSAGES FROM THIS NUMBER SAYING THAT I GET THE LOAN THAT IT WILLBE ON MY BANK ACCOUNT IT NOT THERE

I have  been getting the same thing 4-5 messages from this one and 3 others from spammers as well. Two were out of New York and one from New Jersey. I have no idea how they get my number I am very careful not to post it anywhere except for legit companies such as my credit card company.

Is there not a law against this? I tried calling my cell provider because I simply do not text and do not need the service but they refused.

If anyone knows what we can do to stop this please let me know I am sick of paying extra on my bill because of spammers who break the law.

Who can I get in contact with to get these jack a***s to stop sending me texts!?

I can't understand where these places are getting my phone number.  I get text messages and calls an average of 6 times a day about fast cash and my loan approvals.  My cell phone company says there is nothing that can be done.  Very frustrating!

We also have Verizon, you can go online or call customer service and block the number.

I have received a similar message from America60.com that suggested I send in a form to get cash instantly wire transfered to my account....

Someone needs to do something about this.  What can we do?
