Got the same identity attempt scam from this number,  first wanted to know the condition of the "item".  I replied  "Let me guess, cashiers check, your on a trip....send me extra cash and send the extra back to you.  I'll get right on it" .  This one is such an idiot he didn't recognize my sarcasm and replied with "yes, kindly get back to me with your full name and mailind address and the payment will be mailed out...".  

Yeah I just got a message saying the same thing I told them I only accept cash and don't do checks!! Wtf!!

Responded to a post on CL. Said:

"Alright, I really appreciate your swift response. I will be paying you with a Cashier Check and after it fully clears with you I will take care of the shipping myself. I don't mind adding an extra $30 so you can keep it in my favor. Please text me with your Name & Mailing Address and i will have the payment mailed out immediately. Let me know if this is fine with you. ? Thanks

yes, I post an add on craigist as well to sell an item and they tried to scam me as well...beware. The guy told me he couldnt collect the item because he is on a trip...so he will send me a check. Then he said he send me extra money on the check by mistake so I should put the check in the bank and send the extra back to him....BEWARE
