This number has repeatedly called this office of business.  They keep demanding to give information and each time they have been told to not call this number, the guy Mark Cooper says he will keep calling and will not stop.

cALL SAY I OWE MONEY AND CALLED MY JOB

Just received a call from 646-396-1626 insisting that they had an affidavit on me and I owed them money. He had some Indian accent and send him to hell and told him not to bother me anymore, that I knew it was a scam and I was not going to fall for it, I will be blocking their number on my IPhone and see if that works, Are there any other remedies or recourses we can take to stop these thieves/.

These people work for a check advance company that you most likely got a lone from. So they don't care if you lose your job, that's there whole point is to destroy you life. So think who you got a loan from and report that company for malicious acts.

I am getting these calls as well from Mark Cooper and Alex Williams. I would make sure you also go out and file a complaint on the FTC site.

They keep callling my job and phone back to back! Alex Williams and Mark Cooper! They have no information on the debt or the company that I owe. They call from various numbers 646-396-1626, 474-469-2827, and many more. I have reported them numerous times and it stops for a few months and it starts again.

I keep getting these calls to , they are harrassing me at work are rude, when I ask the name of their company they refuse to give it to me,  I get the names Mark Cooper or Alex Williams. When I ask for paperwork from this debt they say I owe they tell me they dont have any paper work..

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information from unscrupulous websites like the one you may have filled out an application with, and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

These people keep calling and harassing me and my husband, they keep saying we owe money to an agency and that they need us to pay, but that they need us to use the Green dot cards, which is an obvious sign they are scammers. These people are Indian descent and they want me to believe their names are Mark Cooper or Alex Williams, REALLY!!! I don't think so!!!
