I also recieved an email and assortment of texts from " mark douglas" who claimed to be a doctor buying a puppy for his son for his birthday. I found his usage of language odd, especially since he started refering to the puppy as a package.. he demanded that I cash a check that he sent for $2,675.00  for the puppy......sooo beware to all.....scammers on the prowl.

Received a text today asking me if I could details of a puppy to email address markdouglas656@yahoo.com, text back wroing number and nothing

Appears to be a scammer, won't go through website and fill puppy application, as I no longer accept random initial phone calls.

Texted me after I posted my resume on Craigslist ..claimed he wanted to hire me as his assistant.

Appears to be a scammer. They have texted me about buying a puppy. They refuse to go to the website, probably because their location would show.

Almost 100% of pet scams come from Nigeria. Got pets? Sell local. Want pets? Go to your local shelter & get a rescue dog, or cat. They make great pets.

this number called me acting like he had a hearing problem for me to email him because he wanted to buy a puppy i was selling. He claimed to be a DR which is a lie. He wanted to send me a cashiers check with all this extra money on it for me to wire to fake shipper. Told me i would have to cash the check and wire the money before he would give me any info on the company, He would not tel even tell me where he lives! SCAMMER BEWARE!!!!!!
