I received a call coming up as "cellular call". No one was there when I answered. It's very annoying.

A father recieved a call from his daughter from this number. She is currently on the streets of Charlotte and we are greatly concerned about her safety. The caller id said American Lung Association.

Called 24 Sep,  1:09 p.m. Hung up when answering machine message started.

They asked to leave a message for Mrs........ and said my name wrong and it is a VERY simple name so I hung up on them.

Picked up on third ring, no one there.  Star 69 says call was from 646-401-301.  I am also on do no call list.

CALLER JUST SAID, "DEPENDS", AND HUNG UP.
YESTERDAY THEY CALLED AND DIDN'T SAY ANYTHING.
AROUND 5PM.

We have received daily calls from 646-401-0302. Three times the machine picked up but no message was left. The last time I answered within two rings. There was a brief pause and then a hang up.
The caller I.D. identified the Crohns Colitis Assoc.
We do contribute to this organization,however,upon calling this organization in Garden City, NY, they advised me that they were not aware of any fund raising efforts of this nature.

Yes.  An annoying and inconsiderate call from this number.  I don't care if it's a non-profit or not, I'm on the do not call list and I didn't invite you to call me.

I have received several calls from this number & they never leave a message.  I just now put them on block, won't bother me anymore.

This number has appeared on my caller ID also in the last few days.  Leaves no message and I have not attempted to answer.

The do not call list does not apply to charaties.

The do not call list does not apply to charaties.  They can still call to solicit contributions.  The list only applies to businesses that are trying to sell goods for prophet.  I understand that this number is to a charity.

How do you get them to stop calling?  I get a call from this number every few days.     No one is there when I answer the phone.  They hangup.   It's a Cingular cell phone number, but although I tired, Cingular will not give out any information about this number.

They hung up on me when I answered!

8:42 pm eastern time, didnt answer the phone, they didnt leave a message.

Received two calls from this number, one last night around 6pm, the other today at 3pm. No message left either time.

Got a call from this number.  Shown as American Lung...  Did not answer it and they did not leave a message.  We are on the don't call list - and we have never dealt with this organization.  I tried to call it back a few times and nothing happened - no ringing, no nothing....

Called several times, very annoying

This caller does not leave a message and is not there when I answer, as if automated dial.  Frustating, especially when it wakes me or interrupts another call.

I had a call from this number last night,  called it back, recording, all operators are busy.....

I had about 6 calls from this number. I traced it, and it shows up as
a cell phone. The number is actually from the "American Lung Association"
So if you have ever donated to these people. That may be the reason that
you received the call.
I won't be donating to them in the future. !!

Caller ID read New York NY, no one answered when I picked up.

This number is coming up as a cellular call on my caller ID. No message is ever left when it goes to my machine.

I just received the same thing.  I let the call go to my answering machine, but the caller did not leave a message.

Just got a call from this number. I let it go to my voice mail but the caller disconnected and didn't leave anything.
