This number shows up about 5 times or more a day mostly in the evening for the past 2 months, is there anyway to stop this?

Theses people keep calling me after I have asked them to stop. Its usually for a security system or car insurance rates. They dont actually sell it, just verify your information and put you in contact with a broker whom contact you

home security system for free. Don't want to but keep talking even say no. Just hang up and put on block call list on my cell.

I just received 2 calls from this number. Same as above he stated it was "US Autocare". I quickly looked it up and asked him where they were physically located. He told me Texas. I told him the number he was calling from was a 'out of service' number and US Autocare is located in WA. He gave me an address, but i could not understand him, I even asked him to spell it, still did not understand. He insisted that I give him information about what model car I owned. I told him I did not own a car. The biggest surprise was he did not hang up when I challenged him.

Caller ID was ,"V21803483100006" said he was with "US Autocare" asking what model car I owned, trying to "qualify" me for a later auto insurance call. Caller spoke very poor English and with a heavy (middle-east?) accent. Caller knew my name, e-mail account (a rarely-used yahoo account), phone number and address, said someone would call me back in 1-2 days with an insurance quote.
It's important to gather as much identifying, useful info as possible, share it, show a calling pattern and provide a basis for taking them to court, using state laws for state court and the Federal Telecom. Act for federal courts.
An immediate call-back found "the subscriber you had dialed is not in service."

This call is the same type of call that I am receiving daily on my cell phone and if you call the number back you get the message that the number is not a working number or is no longer in service.  I am fed up to my eyeballs with these calls and want them stopped immediately.  I have reported the number now please get the calls to stop.  Once again, the call originate from New York ( New York City ) and that is all I have on them so far.

On do not call list and this number keeps calling. Very annoying and no one is there.

received 8 calls at various times day and night the past 2 days-nobody answered at that end, i picked up the phone and they hung up

Received 2 calls in a row from this number.  When I called it back, it said the number has been disconnected!  Go figure!

Repeated call no message no one there when i answer

I recieved a call from 646-421-5464 this morning and after reading some of the posts I decided to block the number. This works every time since the caller quickely gets tired of being disconnected. The thrill is gone!
**Just had another call. After two rings their phone goes back to a dail tone. Success.**

the number started calling my home phone about a week ago so far every day i get 5 calls a day. when i call them back the number says not in service.

Called the house several times today.  When I finally answered, the guy started to talk about home improvements.  He asked if I were the owner of the house and I told him it was none of his business as he had called a do not call number.

Who ever this nut case is he is calling our cell 3-4x a day| Get a life turkey

Has called me twice today and they hang up, no message left.  Called number back and got message that number has been disconnected.  I too am on the DNC registry.

They called me, I am also on DNC list, but left no message.  My wife keeps getting calls from mortgage companies and she also is on DNC.  Never seems to end.

Called 4 times yesterday and 5 today.  I never answer and always look up numbers I do not know so I can find information like this.  Also on National DNC.

This company needs to be contacted and informed about the State laws in regards to solicitors (If they are a solicitor).  In the last hour and a half I have gotten 5 calls from them.  And I'm on the DNC Registry!!!  State law states that they can only call to solicit 3 times in one day if the number is not on the registry... It is only 11 am so far... I'm curious to see my grand total by the end of the night.  Each time, they do not leave a message.  This is ridiculous
