If you are Registered with the National Do Not Call list, File a complaint with them, as I just did.

The company that ownes this number is out of NY, Paetec is the company name. I called them at 877-340-2600 and informed them that a complaint will be filed for calls I am receiving from 646-432-0404.

I have been getting calls from this number for months, and like others they leave no message and if you answer the call they hang-up. Wish to get rid of them if possible.

How can we get rid of these people. They call for my husband i try to give them his office number but they hang up before you can say anything. next time they call i'm gonna say ugly things.

They called today and asked for Kathy, who works here in a small office, so I figured they at least knew something.  Before I got to ask them why they were calling (Planet 3 Communications on caller id looked suspicious), they hung up.  Then I find out from the regular receptionist that they call all the time and do this.

I to have received constant calls from these people.I am going to try the number supplied by Kim has anyone found it effective as I sometimes get 2 or 3 calls a day.

This number belongs to a telecom company called Paetec out of NY.  I informed them of the annoyance calls and they said they would contact their customer using this number and tell them to cease calling.  Each of you should call and complain at this number 1-877-340-2600.

Just got another call from them.  Happens all the time.  Getting tired of them.  If anyone has made progress or has a solution.....POST IT!!!

They keep calling me and when I call back I get a message that the number is disconnected or no longer in service.
Who are these people and how do they get away with this when I'm on the National Do Not Call List?  How do I get it to stop?

I have received this call at least once or twice a week for the past 4 months.  When I picked up, no one answered on the other end and there are no message left on my machine.  When I hit redial, I got a message said "You have reached a number that is disconnected or no longer in service".  My caller ID says Planet 3 Comm.  I'm beginning to think is there a ghost or an alien trying to call me?

On my caller ID it says Planet3 Comm(Communications?) but I tried searching for the name on Google and nothing comes up and I tried to reverse the number and that doesn't work either.

They called twice this week. The first time I could hear someone breathing and fidgeting with the phone for more than a minute while at least two other telemarketers talked to other callers in the background. Maybe the company employs mentally disabled individuals. I don't know.

This number called yesterday and this morning.  Two different people asked for Ester, so it is clearly a wrong number as I am not Ester.  My best guess is it is a collections company.

Just call 877-340-2600, I was told that the number 646-432-0404 is one of their numbers that " one of their telemarketers use " - I told them I wanted the calls to stop, I assured the person that answered 877-340-2600 that I would be sharing this information with my State AG office, as my number is listed on " Do not call " list, that seemed to get some attention.

couple calls in the last week; no messages

I have been receiving calls from Planet 3 Comm 646-432-0404 at least three times a week for the past year and I am sick of it and reporting them to the FTC.  Some one on another complaint board seems to think that it is coming from Program Trading Solutions.com  That makes sense to me cause I am a Trader and get a lot of calls.  They want to sell you a Program for $5595.  No, thanks.  I do very well on my own for the past 10 years.

Thought I would pass this on as consumer Beware tips.

Reason for Hang Up Calls, no message

      1. telescum who set their predictive dialers to abandon calls
      2. scanning for numbers and time to call live victims for later              telemarketing calls
      3. scanning for fax spam targets
      4. scanning for open modems (computer cracking, looking for modems set to auto-answer (ATs0=true))
      5. other "2600" stuff (phone hackers - mostly looking for tones and unusual system responses)

Guy freaked me out. When I answered he asked for my husband and when i told him he wasn't available and asked whos calling, he said you don't need to know and hung up.  Let him try to call this number again, he will have a surprise waiting for him.

After getting called at 11pm, I put a stop to whoever is calling me.  I called my phone company and told them what's been going on.  Told them that it seems to be a telemarketer.  I was assured that this was not the case as all telemarketing companies were already blocked.  What my phone company did was block all 646 numbers for all the phones in my name.  Anyways here is what I was able to find...

calls and when i don't answer, leaves no message. i especially hate when i get these calls on my cell phone!

They have been calling for about 3-4 weeks, they either ask for Donald or just hang up. When I call the number back, it says it has been disconnected.

keeps showing up on my phone.  This is the number that the kids call with an emergency since I am a day sleeper.  This really needs to stop.  I will call the 877 number in the am and report it

Someone from 1-646-432-0404 stated calling at least once  a week asking for  my husband Keith. I repiledhe was a work could I take a message. She just hung up without another word. This is very suspicious behavior. My husband did not know anything about Planet 3 Comm...  The last three calls I've keeped a recored of days and times called; the call alsp rendered no contact upon my hello greeting, then hung up. Then I deceided to let the web give me a hand to try and locate this phanthom caller. I'm getting tired of this nonsence and I want it to stop or some kind of explantation.

Got my daily call from these pain in the a**es.
I called Paetec out of NY and was told that they are a phone co like ATT and that 646-432-0404 is one of their #s. They put me on their do not call list and after 48hrs, there should be no more calls.

I receive a call from this number at least once a day and sometimes twice a day. When I answer it, the call is disconnected. When I called the number back, it is a disconnected telephone #. I want this to be discontinued as soon as possible.
