I have been receiving calls from this number and the man is saying the same stuff. He said he was an agent and asked about a loan, which i never had. I told him if this is real send me something in the mail then I will answer questions, but I think this is a scam. He said if i Didn't respond he would send officers to arrest me and to be prepared for the worst nightmare of my life. I saved the messages. He still continues to call along with other India callers talking about Ive been approved for loans.

I call them back and ask stupid questions trying to get them to screw up. And they do, they get irritated and hang up, its nice knowing this info and that there is nothing THEY can do about it now that I have their number, DA's.

Just got a call from this number. Didnt introduce himself or company. Gave me the name of payday loan. I called them and I was told it was a scam. Ugh!!!

Received a call from this number from an Indian person saying he was Officer Brian Oliver and that if I did not call him back he would send the police to my office and my home to arrest me Please can someone find these people and stop them from harrasing. I did not call back He left a message on my office line and my cell phone

This very fake sounding guy called claiming to be Officer Brian Oliver. He ah a thick Indian accent and threatened to arrest me and give me the worst experience of my life if I didn't pay them. They had the wrong name and SS# -- they were calling my office and that number used to belong to a shady immigration lawyer, so I'm not surprised. When I called back from a blocked number he answered with the fake name and threatened to have me raped by Federal agents ad my life ended if I didn't make an immediate payment. I recorded the whole thing, FYI.

These people need to be stopped. Everything they are doing is beyond illegal.

I just had office Brain call me with the same thing. He left a message saying they were coming to get me so called them back and told him if he ever called me again I would  send the hells angles after him Officer Brain hung up. He said the debt I own was for Cash Advance America.

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information from unscrupulous websites like the one you may have filled out an application with, and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

I have recieved 3 calls now like this. The person who left a voicemail stated his name was "brain Oliver," although he was clearly Indian, stating if I didnt call back, be prepared for "the worst thing Ive ever had happen to me in my life." I knew it was a scam, but he had my social, bank account and routing number and my address. I called my bank, froze my account, and opened a new one. Im going to report this to the FTC and police, and urge anyone else to do the same. If they call and don't have some of your information and ask you to "verify" it, DO NOT give them any information. They are scammers, nothing else.

I just had the same number call me, pretending to be some sort of federal crime agency claiming that there is lawsuit against me for fraud..(this is not a collection agency) if you recently just tried to get a pay day loan through a website online,this is how they got your information..dont give them anything its a scam!!!!!! they also wont give a company name or address!!!!!

Same thing happened to me today. They called my job and said that they were the FBI and his name was kevin  smith. He would not give me a company name and he knew my socialand everydamn thing. I called and made a police report.

This same number has called me saying the same thing.when I argued with him he told me I was lying and it was bs. Asked for the address to his company and he said I didn't need it and not to call back

This number is calling me saying I owe a debt and that they are the financial crimes of investigation department. They have a heavy accent and when I argued that the loans they say are mine aren't he got upset told me it was b***s*** and I was lying and hung up on me. I called him back he told me he wasn't dealing with the b***s*** and was sending officers to my house if I didn't pay 547 over the phone. He hung up on me again and when I called back he told me to loose the number and quit calling cause I was pissing him off. I asked for the name of the company and the address and he told me I didn't nerd the damn address and again said this is b***s*** and to not call back because it is b***s***.

I have received 2 calls this week from this number.  Same script and all that.  I do have a couple of payday loans out & I know this is a scam.  If I had know this was going to happen to me I would have thought twice about applying for a payday loan but I was in a bind & needed the money.  If ANYONE has ANY advice as to what I can do to stop this LEGALLY I would appreciate it.  Thank you.  Please read my post & be careful!

Yeah, I just got a call from these fake dumb claim to be federal cops.Lol. It was my fault for giving my information online to apply for money loan. So, if this is also u wouldn't worry.I'm like really if u were real I won't be working as a state correctional officer, dumb. I be arrested.

these a-hole called my job and said he was a police officer looking for me. He had my full name, social security and my employment info! Now my boss is concerned that I broke the law somewhere. Please help me report these people!

Receiced harrassing phone call about 5 minutes ago and they where using fowl language and pretending to be the FBI.

Don't call him back. Real police don't phone you up to tell you they're going to arrest you or serve you papers.

,,,,same s*** happen to me, then some guy called my place of employment and told me that they were with the federal bureau of investigations and that i committed fraud on a loan, they had my ss number, address and bank info, and told me that if i didnt pay them today i was going to jail, All a scam, Ive never taken a loan out on the internet, and now there calling my work and dont even speak english, then money is takin out of my account and an overdraft Fee ,,   What should i do????????????

It's a scam. They claim to be affiliated with some sort of law enfocement agency and advise that they are attempting to collect on a debt owed and if you dont pay over the telephone, they will send an officer or the local sheriff to your houe immediately.

just got the same call twice in lease the a minute telling me the cops are comeing to my house to arrest me got this last year to the police here can not do anything because they are form india and they are lawers. it is a scam".BVEWARE OF THEM"

I got a call from them saying my name, social security number, and they are from federal investigations department. If I don't call back they will "block down" my social security number, and send cops to arrest me. Couple months ago we got scammed for $800 from "InstaLoans" "Henry Scott" fake name, individuals trying to say we were approved for loans but had to put a downpayment on NetSpend prepaid cards first. I think this is in connection. Has anyone reported this to the police?

Got a call from an India person claiming that he was a Federal Office, I could barely understand his name, but he told me if I did not call hime back that I would be facing the worst nightmare of my life and that he was going to contact the police and have them arrest me. I was scared becauce I could not figure out what I had done to have the Federal Police be looking for me. So I call up my sister and she Google the phone number and found that they are scammers and from a debit collection agency. So, if you get a call that is similar to my call , beware that they are not from the Federal and the are only trying to collect a debt.....
