Ok, this is just ridiculous... I got the same call from this person and adivsed that he'd be reported to the BBB after he asked to speak to me or my HR Rep. When I told him he' was being report he said to me, "F**** You MF'er! I'm sure he'll leave voice mails  because it's on my job. I will report this to my HR person. I never got the nature of the call, but I had previously received harassing call from someone and it sounded like the same guy weeks ago.

Got the same call today but this time he used the name Neil McKenzie and said he would send officers to my home.  Not sure what it is but last time he called I asked for proof and he stopped calling under the name John Patterson but it is the same Indian accent I heard before.  They also switch there phone numbers up all the time.  How can we stop these people from calling?

Yea. The same people called my husbands phone and it was the same thing. Then he gave me the phone and when began asking the Indian accentted man questions he would just say take your proof in front of the judge. Then when got irrate back with him he started answering my questio.s, but still could not give me an exact date on this supposed loan just a month and the year. Then when I asked for proof in the mail he said they couldn't send it to me until it was paid. Yeah I'm that stupid NOT so I told him to let the supposed attorney for the company deliver the papers to my door. I really want to k ow if they honestly believe all americans are some dumb as to believe someone with a pronounced foreign accent would have a name like Neal Mckenzie. D.M. Ohio

I got a call from 646-434-7442 and the guy said his name was Officer John Peterson. He also called my job and spoke to my manager. He said he deposited money into my account, and I would need to pay him back because criminal charges had been filed against me. I have recieved nothing from the local police or sherriff, and this has been going on for months now. They never give any details, just that criminal charges were filed and I would be going to jail that day if I didn't pay the money. Emails were supposedly sent to me, but I have never seen any from him.

This John Peterson has called me numerous times today. He has even called my work and spoke to my boss!! He told my boss that I was going to get arrested and that it is a Federal Crime to write back checks. And that I needed to pay him $400 dollars if I didn't want to go to jail in the next 48 hours. So here I am freaking out, thinking what is going on?? He has called me over 6 times today. Not including however many times he has called my work. I don't even know how he got my information. But he has told me that he will call my job every minute and that he will get me fired. So I asked him to fax me some papers so that I could turn everything over to my local police Department. He then HUNG up on me!! So do not let this stupid little man bother you. Because quite frankly, HE IS FULL OF S***!!

This person keeps harassing me and calling me yelling on my cell phone, he even called twice in a row and left threatening messages.  He says he will call the manager at my place of employment and if I don't call him back, I should be prepared to face the worst nightmare of my life, though I think him calling me is already a nightmare.  How did this creep get my phone number?!

I've been told the FBI and FTC, are who you want to file complaints with.

I've recieved the same phone call from them myself. i never recieved anything from them. he acts like he is a cop and then he says hes a financial officer. they sound like they are from another country scamming people. DONT GIVE THEM A CENT!!  they are rude and lude and complete jerks. i acually went to the police station and filed a harrasment report. you should do the same if they get nasty. he told me he was gonna drop a bomb on my house and come to my job and let me have it. beware of these theives.

I was called from a 646-918-0991 number where a voicemail was left that he was Officer John Peterson and I owed him $300.00 that he deposited into my account he also called my job when I called back the number he left 646-434-7442 I left 2 messages he then called me back and stated I had to pay 300 with in the hour or I would have a lawsuit against me as well as 3 federal criminal fraud charges I asked for information on when he deposited the money when he tried collecting the money or the account info he deposited and attempted to collect the money from he stated he did not have to give me any information and that he would only email me something showing my account was paid in full after I gave him my cc#  I also spoke to his "manager" who stated that I could just get a lawyer and prove it in court and he was going to call my manager at work and I would lose my job his name was Richard Hamilton they claimed to be from Fast Cash and US national bank

I got a call from that crazy person, too!  He came here to America & probably started a business with the money the Government gives all foreigners to start a business with, $10,000, tax free for 10 years!  I was told that by a Pakistanian family who has 3 drive-in grocery stores, in Conroe, Texas.  Now, with the money he got from us (The hard-working Taxpayers), he's using it to scam us!  It makes me so mad!  I wish the Government would give me $10,000 to start a business!  Or....to not have to pay TAXES for 10 years!  But, I was born here, so I don't get a break, like the foreigners do!!!

The person who called, told me he LEGALLY represents a payday loan company that I hadn't paid back.  He was actually yelling at me the whole time!  I used to work for a Judge & told him so & I asked him where he got my information from and he wouldn't tell me.  He got so frustrated, I thought he was having a nervous breakdown!  He ended up hanging up on me.

WOW! It's amazing how many people are getting harassed from this #! My mom had checked her msgs. earlier from work & gave me the # & asked if I'd call to see who this crazy guy was who left her such a threatening msg. on her answering machine. He was yelling & said his name was "John Peterson"(how fake!) & kept repeating her name over & over & was saying "you BETTER do this & u BETTER do that" like some controlling freak & NEVER said what company he was with or WHY he was even calling. THEN, he said "If you don't call me back I will have you arrested!" --LOL-- Wow, what a lunatic!...Soooo, I called & of course I pushed *67 before I dialed his # so this crazy man wouldn't have my #.....Anyways, so he answered & sounded like he was on a cell phone walking down a very windy street & I asked if that was his name & he YELLED "Yes!" & I NEVER gave him my name or any info on me, but I told him he called my mother & I was calling him to see who he was & what he wanted. He was yelling like he was in SUCH a MAD mood in what sounded like some other language. I thought the second I heard him, wow, he's either iranian or indian (but on the bottom of this page it says his # is from New Zealand.) Well to get to the point, he NEVER told me ANY info & just KEPT YELLING "You tell your motha to call me or I will have her arrested!!" I was like "EXCUSE ME?! You are not telling us anything & are NOT making any since! I cannot understand you speaking in your language & here in AMERICA we speak ENGLISH! "(lol, although if it were spanish i could maybe understand)  I told him I could NOT understand what he was saying & that this MUST be a SCAM from another country.Then he was yelling saying "OHH! I'm not American?! I'm not American?!" (I was trying hard not to laugh cuz it was like he didn't know if he was from here or not & was questioning it..lol) So then he told me he was a 'cop from new york' (YEAH RIGHT! But it sounded real funny with him saying it in his accent.) So, I just told him I was calling the police cuz he is scamming people & hung up on him. I had also told him he apparently was not professional & in our country you don't call someone you don't know & SCREAM at them or on their answering machine like your crazy!.............ANYWAYS, it's SO good to know there is this website to look up #'s to see if this is happening to other people so we will know what all to watch out for....there are SO many foreigners into scamming millions of people in the world & ESPECIALLY through emails! Nobody should EVER go through online loan companies or type their secret info into anything that seems shady. Hackers are so good now a days about making their page look IDENTICAL to ANY kind of regular website, just so they can steal your info or try to get into your bank account & steal your $. Well, all I have to say is God is watching what those little devils are doing & that is why bad things happen in their countries! I pray for them to STOP what they are doing & get a real job for $!! I got the same kind of call stating he was officer john peterson sounded like he was indane claiming about a law suit

A supposed Office John Peterson, who sounded like he was Indian, was claiming that I had a federal law suit pending for a loan that I took out, even though I never took one out in the first place.  But he said if I gave him my cc# and paid him $350 RIGHT NOW that it would all go away.  It is a scam and you should NOT pay these people.

He would not give me any information regarding the loan company or the law offices he was calling in regards to then became irate when I would ask questions to verify any of the information he was providing.  I plan on filing any and all formal complaints available to me.

They are impersonating an officer of the courts, threatening to arrest me for a loan i never received!! And also leaving threatening messages on my answering machine!!
