the same woman is now doing it to stampinup via email.  it is all the same the wrong amount check etc.

I also received a text from a Kerry Blake at (914)810-4836 stating she had found my Mary Kay website asking me to email her so she could place an order. I ignored it thankfully. Anyone can place an order directly on my website...

I received a text from Kristen Jackson at (914) 810-4836 (also a NY number) saying she wanted some help with products on my Mary Kay website.  I emailed her back but her response looked a little scam-y and now that I see what else is in store from the comments above, I won't be doing business with her.

Received a text from 646-439-7459 saying she found my Mary Kay website and wanted me to e-mail her so she could ask about some products...  Stupid me, she could have texted her questions just as easily, or called...I responded to the e-mail, without giving any information at all, just a reply telling her to tell me what her questions were.  Then the same stories as what everyone else is saying here...

I received this text this morning at 2am.

She also sent me a follow up email telling me about the check being sent to me for the wrong amount and also told me her son was in an accident. I emailed her back telling her that it was a scam and not to send anything to me.

Also received this text. But she had stated that she received my number from nanny.com. and was looking for a personnel assistant. No Reply has been sent

I got the exact same email from Kristen Jackson. She email me saying she wants to order some Mary Kay products but it felt like it was some sort of scam to me. I went and email her back with her total. Then today(05/01/13), she told me her eldest son got into an accident and her debtors new secretary sent out the wrong amount to me. Now I know its a scam. Please tell your Mary Kay team members that this is a scam and to watch out!

Received another email tellingly that her eldest son was in a bad car accident and that her finance lady sent me a check that included an amount that was owed to her directly.  She went in to ask me if once I received the check would I take my payment and forward the rest to her daughters wedding planner!  They must think I was born yesterday!

Received a text from 646-439-7459 with the name of Kristen Jackson asking for my email so that she may order MaryKay products.  Not knowing that this may not be a scam, I provided it to her along with my name and email and she placed an order.  She said that she wanted to send me a certified bank check or money order.  After doing some research online and speaking to my director, I emailed her back telling her that I would not be able to fill her order and that she should contact a consultant in her area.
