5 mins after getting the first call rec'd another call from different number (847-783-8966) stating that again they were from a company hiring, name of co was something university did not hear the whole name, They said the the conversation was being recorded and started asking me questions like what year did you graduate, Highschool I went to.  When I said I am no longer interested they asked why I then said not comfortable after putting the first number in and read comments about the number she hung up on me.  She had an accent

I had applied to a job on craigslist they called stating that they were from a copy that hires people. Asked for my birth year.  After call I put this number in and saw these comments.
They also told me that they were emailing me something.  Of cours I am not opening up anything from a company I don't not know now.

This b*****d scammer call and want to speak to owner of my company, and wants update the company info. i am the owner and told him, do not call again. they hang up but will call you next week and next week......
they have few more number-646-448-1986/ 646-558-2019- last july that they  called 10 times on my free 800 number and cost me$ 10.00+ and wasted 25 minutes, i have asked my phone company to blocked 646 number, you can request your phone company to block it- and if you report to FBI-  waste of time. they are the best of law enforcer -only thake care high profile case or high ranking goverment official.

Numerous calls from this number today. I don't answer, but it's in New York.

Got a call from these guys saying that they wanted to update my Verison Superpages listing on the internet search. I let them get to the point where they wanted to charge us $199.99 per Month!I thne told them I was not interested which irritated him.

Call my cell, could hardly speak english!! I told them not to call this freaking number any more. I don't know what good it is to list with the "DO NOT CALL" list!!!

Recieved a call from 646 448 8673 -requesting me to update my yellow book page ad. Informed the man that I have never had or would ever have one. Hmmm got nasty with me because I wouldnt agree to udate HIS ad listing. I told him to get a life that was existant and stop trying to harrass someone. He then began flappin his Pie Hole in sum strange language-I left my phone on speaker and did not respond to him anymore. After about 20 Ello, Ello, he finally hang up.. What a numb skull..I jus love prankster callers. maybe next time I will offer him a free nonexisting cruise for his identification information. LMAO

receive about 2-3 calls a day from them, most of the time they just hang up.  This is a business & it's REALLY annoying.

Got call from 6464486763 from my cell this morning. I didn't answer, and they left no message. I called back, and it just rang and rang.

As I have seen this number on my phone recently, I answered with nothing me than a "Hello."  A man on the other end responded with a "hello" and then hung up.  When I called the man back I was transferred to a disconnected number with a 212 area code just like Dave's post.

Received a call - when i called back, it was forwarded to a disconnected area code 212 number.

Alledgely calling to verify Yellow Page ad.

They called to verify my verizon account.  I said I would call Verizon and verify my account to them.  I hung up.

I've had 2 hang up calls from this number in the last 20 minutes.

They called, the best thing to do is to hang up right away, don't even confirm your business name.

I have received calls from this number between October 8 and 14. No messages

Called and asked who handled our yellow page listing, told him that was me and we were not interested in updating our listing. He said that was ok and continued talking, but i just hung up! I have heard too many stories of phone calls like these, so I never give out any information or agree to anything!!

After a long time of not receiving these calls I received one today...I called the number back and ge the same respose...a discounected 212 area code number.

This man called about our yellow pages listing, which I don't purchase, just take the free listings.  Could hardly speak english, not a good sign! He started asking if my information was correct, I said you got it and said I had to go, good bye and hung up.  I get these yellow page junk calls all the time, it is always someone different with very poor english skills.  Must be a "hot item" for scammers.

Well, interestingly I called this number back and it just say's mail box full then hangs up?? Which most do with advertisements like these... the best thing to do is report to the BBB.gov and at your local F.B.I. internet scams/call center to help hinder these calling scams.

This is a sales call.  A guy calls and asks for my boss by "Bob" when his name is Robert...so I know they don't know each other since he doesn't go by Bob.  When I lie and tell him he's not in or in a meeting he says he'll call him on his cell phone.

Another Yellow Pages Update scam came from this number.  I don't know if it is spoofed or not, but I think so because we've gotten this same scam call over a dozen times in the last month, but from seven different numbers.

slanderous comments, repeated irratating telemarketers, hard to understand, and ties up phone lines.

Come on, dude.  This site is not for advertising your business.

I just got the same call today, from someone where Beyond Media who said they were calling from the Yellow Pages, he asked for the person who took care of the yellow page listings, so I just said that I did, so it wouldn't bother my boss with a junk call. I knew he was sounded suspicious or selling something, so I just sat there. He then said that he was with Verizon Yellow Pages - we don't have Verizon - and wanted to verify our information.  I said ok.  Then he asked if I were the owner, and I said nope, we are a non-profit, we don't actually have an owner.  So he said ok, and hung up.  I googled him and found this site.  Hope he doesn't get the information he needs to establish 3rd party billing.  Why is the world filled with crooks??
