He wants to buy Commercial Water Tank from me. He wants my Paypal details so that he can send money today itself. I asked his company's details twice and then he replied its for his uncle & the shipping company will come for pick up. Haven't given any of his details. Any genuine Buyer will always give his details first and come for inspection of product.

Same guy is trying to buy something from me. I sent him an invoice via PayPal, so either he pays that or gets nothing. Don't have them send you the payment, you should send a payment request. Same email address as above, but with the number 347-54108315

It's funny I'm getting the same stories as every one else, he wants me to send him 959 to his shipping company to pick up my cadilac sts and than PayPal will supposedly clear my funds into my account, something wasn't right with it so I clicked the email associated with him (fordjohn442@yahoo.com) and it was some fake email address. So I than googled tha email to see if it was legit and I find this page. He's telling me right now as we speak that he will deposit 5500 into my Paypal account, 4500 for the car and 950 for the shipping, but I have to pay the shipping myself first than hell reimburse my money when the transaction is finsihed. This is the new number hell contact you at 3475418315 STAY AWAY FROM THIS F****R!

This guy called me wanting to buy my truck. He said set up a PayPal account and he will send me the money. I did. He then asked me for my email (which is how pay pal does it) then he sent me fake emails from pay pal saying money received. They look legit. There not!!!!  I called pay pal to verify and they said it was a scamm. Be aware. If u call the number it comes up with the name Steven Johnson. He said his name was John. Don't even respond to this a** hole. He wants u to send money to a shipping compay. mine was 1555.00 He says send it through money gram. But u don't get money he supposedly sent till u send money gram.

I think he is doing the same thing again. I posted my car on Craigslist few days ago and supposely he wants to buy my car. This guy came up with a weird and new story. He said that he works for the force and that he is currently in camp as survival, evasion, resistance and escape instructor for new recruits. He told me that his name was John, but when I called, on his voice mail his name was Steven Johnson. He is using this e-mail fordjohn442@yahoo.com and his new number is 646-470-3768. He is using almost the same cell number. I think this is the same guy from the other post I was reading.

I got a similar thing about a ring I was selling although the number was 646 801 7140!!!

We just got the SAME oceanographer wanting to buy our bike for his son.  He will have his "agent" pick it up...but wants our PayPal account number...........Im not THAT stupid!

I got a couple of Messages from this number, want buy my motorcycle what I'm selling  want my PayPal information for "quick payment". Be careful, something stupid is going on. Same story like above, oceanographer ....

is 25 minutes after posting a record? Why cant the average person see this as the scam it is, because if they weren`t making money, they wouldn`t still be calling?

I experienced the exact same thing from this number.  I received a text message late, asking for my final asking price. He then told me he was an oceanographer leaving town the next day and really wanted the car for his son. He said that if I'm guaranteeing it's a good buy, then he'd be willing to send someone in the local area to take a look and retrieve the keys.  He wanted me to set up a paypal account or set it up and send him my account link. Same thing...only texts, uses phrases like, "bless you" and "have a blessed day".  When I discontinued contact, he began emailing me and became quite pushy.  Watch out.

I have received texts from 6464703068 asking about the price of a vehicle we are selling. The next text was asking our PayPal account in broken English. He continued with a text stating he was an oceanographer looking for a car to drive while in the States. We called right after the last text and he/she did not answer.

This number texted me trying to buying my truck which was listed on the internet for sale. He wants me to send him my paypal information to assure "quick payment" and that a shipping company will come and pick up my truck. I told him I wouldn't sell it unless we did a face to face and went to he bank together, he wouldn't budge on his request for the paypal information.
