Been getting the same call. Initial form a NO CALLER ID # then from this 646 # and told me somewhat. The guy have such a deep Indian accent that I told the guy to have someone with a US accent. Had no intention of giving him remote access but I to like having fun with these guys.

Asian woman identifying herself as a Microsoft Tech Support analyst. Warned me that my PC was generating many error messages and that it had a virus. I asked her if she wanted my passwords and credit card numbers hahaha. She said no, but that my pc was generating error messages and she could fix it. I love having fun with these people so I then asked her which pc, that I have four.....which is true....I asked her to give me the mac address of the machine generating the messages....as you can see it was a slow work day. She replies, No sir not a mac, a PC hahaha I couldn't keep a straight face but managed to ask her if she knew what a mac address was again she said no sir I'm talking about a PC. I finally called BS and told her to go have s*x with herself and leave me alone..... If the day is quiet tomorrow I may call them back.......from a vacant phone in the office of course hahaha. Have a great night all.

this # called me on my cell phone and told me they where from mircosoft tech support and that my computer was sending them messages from my computer. But I didn't do anything they said and shut my computer down just in case they could tap into it some how. You never know.

The called today from this number. Told me my computer was sending them tickets stating I had been hacked. I kept asking them which of my computers. They said the one I use the most and I kept asking which computer. She asked who my internet was with and I asked her which one. She said the one I used the most again. I could barely understand her and after giving her the run around she finally hung up.

All Day Microsoft Tech Support. A girl asked if I was in front of a computer and playing along said yes. Put me on hold and got another person on the phone. I asked for his technician ID and the ticket number he was working. I've only talked to MS tech support a thousand times over the years. When he started to protest and tell me why he didnt need these things, I told him to erase my number and "f*** off." Very satisfying personally if not exactly productive.

Same type of call. Tried to report them to Microsoft, but all of their people, including their PR firm can only tell you what they can't do o=r give you a bogus phone number to call.

This number keeps calling. Then hang up. I want them punished. This is lame. Worst part. They are calling our cell. Number.

Apparently they're still at it. Same as above, I just got a call. Turn on my computer immediately, they are receiving critical errors and they want to help me. I got the woman (Nancy) with very bad English. Says she was in New York with the same 0048 call-back number. She gave me a website: www.alldaytechsupport.com also. There is a site, I looked at the disclaimer which was pretty funny. I didn't follow any other buttons. I don't know if there is a way to report this type of activity, I'd hate to see an unaware person falling for this.

Has called several times, never leaves a message.

I had the same experience as many others. I received a call from David at All Day Tech Support in Manhattan, NYC, and he said my computer was "spewing error messages". He claimed to be a certified Microsoft technician. I asked David if he was "authorized" by Microsoft to contact me, but he never answered my question. I asked David for his number so I could call him back later. He read his number as "6464" - "80" - "00" - "48".. clearly not the typical way to convey a US based phone number. Also, I've never met a person named "David" with an Indian accent like his. And a call center in Manhattan, really?

**SCAMMER**Fake tech support SCAMMER. Tries to get you to allow them to remote to your PC
they claim a company name of RD support and to be Microsoft certified technicians.
They attempt to get you to go to www.showmypc.com to allow a remote connection.
Obviously don't do anything they say.

Same scam from (646) 480-0048, Bandwidth.com VoIP.
sounded like a telephone bank. My guess it's a scammer with multiple callers using VoIP provided by this firm. This firm could track it down.
I also heard from them a week ago. They try to get you to go to several different websites that offer "help desk / remote control" software so that they can take control of your PC.

The very same scam while in my car in horrible highway traffic. A woman with an incredibly thick accent and little knowledge of the English language gave me the same scenario. When she asked if I was near my computer, I screamed at her and let her hear the sirens at the scene of an accident. When I resumed speaking to her, she asked me again if I was near my computer so she could fix my critical error. My error was just not hanging up.

Just received a call from this number. They told me that my computer has critical errors and that I should go home to take care of it. Total scam. I called Microsoft and they said they never call customers. The man gave me a fake name im sure, Brian Mckinney. I told the guy id rather talk to his coworker with the pretty voice (it was a woman) and he got pretty upset and hung up lol. This is a scam.
| Just mess with them 2014-03-17 16:54:28 Unknown |
Saw the number a few times, knew what to expect after reading here. Today I finally picked up and messed with the Indian guy for 21 minutes. It was fun, I sometimes had to hold the phone away because I had to laugh (with my colleague next to me).
I went along, with an Apple Mac in front of me (but not disclosing that), reading the keys on my keyboard to him (because I couldn't find the Windows key), reading every single URL in a Google search result to him, asking him 20 times about my ISP's phone number because I claimed my Internet is not working - and then got mad that he didn't know it and didn't want to fix, even though he claimed he has an error report from my computer.
Also told him I am in Canada, why is he talking about the USA? That stumped him for quite a few seconds. He said a few times "don't waste my time". Then he wanted $49 from me. I said "49 Canadian dollars"? "No 49, not 4,99". At that point I told him it's not my problem that he doesn't speak English, he got mad again. He didn't want to take my check I offered. "No, only cash". io then offered to send cash in an envelope, but he wouldn't give me the address and wanted to transfer me to a tech. At which point I insisted that the tech fixed my Internet. he got mad again. Fun fun fun for a Monday.

They just called me with exact same scam. I said I work for Microsoft and have not heard of any problems and he hung up.
| Cari 2014-03-15 16:36:03 Unknown |
Just got a call. Also said critical errors with Microsoft. I played dumb for awhile and kept asking why they are calling and what about Microsoft. Then they asked if I was near my computer I said "no" and they asked when they could call back. Then I went into a rage and told him he was an evil thief and he is just trying to steal my information. He said no he is here to help. I repeated myself and also added "go to hell". He said "thank you".

Got a call said it was New York. Gave me this as their call back number: 646 480 0048. Kept asking me to turn on my computer. Peter was the name of the clearly Indian broken English voice. Told me they were from Microsoft All Day support. My computer is sending them error messages..... turn on your computer. I asked if they are trying to charge me money to fix my computer. Yes they are going to charge me. Want to log in to my computer. Yeah Right! Lady called first and then put me on with Peter.

Call from (646) 480-0048 Indian accent "Paul" NY, USA starting 3/13/14 at 1800 CDT. From Microsoft support wanting to fix my computer. Told them I work for Microsoft (contractor) and I'll be turning this over to corp security - gee he hung up no more calls. And yes I'm turning this over they actually persue these idiots pretty aggressively.
