This con artist just text me, wanted to use paypal to buy some furniture. It was from this same number, spoke broken English. Beware.

This guy is texting me RIGHT NOW. Same exact thing as all the other posts. Scammer. So glad I looked up the number

Just received a text from this guy. Sounded suspicious to me. Looked his # up and found this information. Very glad I did.

This POS is trying to scam me via a refrigerator I'm selling on CL.  He is the third one in 12 hours.

This was an unrecognized area code so I looked it up and found this post. Person is obviously a scammer. Why would someone from New York want a Garden Tractor located in Tulsa? Hmmm!

Yup. Tried to scam a tablesaw out of me on Craigslist in Oklahoma.  Said they had paid two days prior. Check spam inbox. Sure enough, there emails there saying they had paid. Always check your Paypal to see if money has cleared. Not there retarded crap. They wanted to know where was I. Where was the saw.
Emailed them back saying the saw was the same place there money was. Know where.  3 hours later texting them again........what.......no response?? Of course not. Bunch of scammers.

Same thing but just let him send the $ to Paypal and then transfer it out before he can or does he never actually send it ur saying?

Received several message via text from this number regarding an Ad I posted on Craigslist. They say Pay by paypal and give me your email address. They are ery demanding. DO NOT GIVE OUT YOUR EMAIL! They have your phone number allready, do not give them more info! SCAM! I asked them to verify their name and phone number so I could do a backround check, before I would release my email for Paypal payment, they never responded.

recevied word for word same text, looked up the first number by typing it in to google and found several blogs about them even the name matched they gave me, Bridget Haves 469-563-2464 and now this number 664-481-3165

Got a call also fom this guy, same situation!

They tried to scam my roommate out of her antique furniture. They texted her saying that they will pay via PayPal and someone will pick up the item. Rrrright. When she answered saying that she will only accept cash, we didn't hear from them any more.

I am in Vancouver, Canada by the way. I wish someone can catch these scammers!

Same thing happened to me, I had put a Refrigerator on Craigslist and he called asking if I still had it.  The guys my husband works with pulled this information up and told me it was a scam!

This person is interested in buying stuff and they are actually scammers. please get these people taken care of

So glad I checked this phone number out. He wants our pay pal account to send us the money and shipping costs, we can pay the shipper when they come to pick up the item.  Dozens of e-mails back and forth, he has to move quickly on this deal.  Yikes.  Seller be ware.

This is a cl scammer! Hit me up in nebraska to buy a stage truss! Typical run around crap and eventually wants to get personal info. You can usually tell by the poor english grammar. They always have some run around situation and hoops they want you to go through usually involving paypal etc.

Same thing here except it was for an antique desk. Did not even get as far as paypal info or back story. I looked up the number and found it on several of these sites. Told them to screw off I DON"T DEAL WITH SCAMMERS!!!! Thanks everyone.

Yeah I got a text yesterday same stuff. Wanted to buy an antique desk I have for sale on CL. I thought something was shady so I looked up the number. Told them I don't deal with scammers and would report the number.

Yea, I am selling a car on Craigslist also in the Chattanooga, Tn area. Got a message that sounded very strange! "Hello Friend, I am really interested in the immediate purchase of your merchandise and I would like to know how long have you owned it? What's your best price for it and when last was it serviced? I saw the phone number that the message came from and it was from an area code I did not recognize, 646. I then went to this website and saw all of the comments about messages from this number, sounds like a sham! Just a heads up!

He's trying to buy a watch from me- same situation. I've requested him to call me discuss specifics and he just says he's to busy. Yet we've exchanged over 20 email and 2 text. Thanks for the additional info. Will not be dealing with him.
