Indian Caller- JACOB ADAM- scripted saying you are trying to avaoid and run away and they wish you luck as the situation unfolds on you. They are disgusting and it needs to STOP!

This guy is an idiot he is rude and threatening me it is a scam

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information from unscrupulous websites like the one you may have filled out an application with, and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

Got a call from Edward James and he threatened legal action because if a loan of some sort which I did not take out.  I want these calls to stop and I guess I'll have to change my social security number because they have my number.  These people ought to be put in jail.

The same called me I told me that they was Edward james and I need to call them back by the end of the day or else I will be in trouble.

This man just called and screamed at me about some type of loan. I told him i think he had the wrong number and told him the message he left was for a michelle and my name is jennifer.... he then told me that the message was for me and continued to speak of something i had no idea about. asked to speak to superviosor or manager and said he was it !!!!!!!!! i told him he needed to put someone on the phone who could understand english because he didnt since he was leaving me jennifer a detailed message about somebody else!!!I am PISSED...

I have received two of these calls in as many days on my home phone.  The first one wanted me or my attorney of record to return the call or I would be sorry.  The second one said that I was avoiding the calls and that they would come to my residence and place of work.  They both stated they wished me good luck with the situtation as it unfolds unto me.  The first caller's name was Steve Harrison and the second caller's name was Edward James.

this guy calls me says name is kevin miller # on phone listed as unknon says call him imitiely or have my attony of record call him or i be in big trouble the goes though phone number as 646 481 6384 then says call imitetly and tells his phone number again but this time as 646 481 6354 like you don t know you own phone number scammer

same thing, they keep calling in particular one guy name is Kevin Miller who doesn't sound like a Kevin Miller at all if you know what I mean but keeps on saying "this is urgent, have your attorney call me!! ya okay.....

I just received a call from this number from a man with an Indian accent and said his name was Edward James. He stated he have lefted several messages and I have been avoiding his calls. IHe stated if I did not call back in 2 hours legal action would be taken at my job. I am planning to file a report with the FBI, attorney general and police report.

File a complaint with the Justice Department.

Today is June 20,2013 I to just received a call from this same number but it came up unknown. It to was a gentleman who had a Indian accent but goes by the name Kevin Miller. Left voice message also as in a business like manner. Stating not to ignore his call and was sending cops to my residence or place of work.Also states something about need my lawyer to call asap. I had these calls a few times. The last time was a few months ago except it was a Indian lady from California..

yes this same person just called me with the same information. i have a lawyer and i gave them the information to call. they keep calling my phone and they are harrasing me. i know it is a scam but how do you stop it?

got a caller from some guy who was very rude and told me that my home and job were in jeporty if i didnt call him back he calls on the weekends all hours im not giving in to what they think they are scaring me with!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! go back to india and scam your own people

hello, i got a similar call today as well...just ask him for information and dont verify anything...its  big scam..to try and resolve a matter that never happened...dont be fooled..these guys are a negative lead to anything.

...and ANOTHER call very very similar to the dozens I have received on my company phone over the last few years.  Gentleman with Indian accent did not initially identify himself as would be proper business phone etiquette, instead demands to speak with a person he calls by first name.  As a business office manager I always determine the nature of incoming calls and do not hand out employee personal information.  With further questioning the caller identified himself as "Daniel Forester" and said he was from "Financial Claims Dept" (which, upon second questioning, he claimed was the name of the company he was calling from).  When asked the nature of the call, he said it was a legal matter, and that the person he was seeking needed to return his call if he didn't want to be behind bars.
