I received two texts messages on 1/5/11 and 1/26/11 from someone at 646-483-3646 telling me to call 888-907-4886 or 4887. nothing but a damn scam. Who the hell will text you about a job then telll you to call a 888 number. SMH

I got a text message from this number telling me to call at 888-240-0921 because they have reviewed my application. I hate scammers!

I got a suspicious text from them as well. Apparently, they use your first name to disarm you and ask you a bunch of BS questions. Bottom line, they are not the employer and most likely phishing on Craigslist ( a scammer's paradise) . I did speak with them and only answered a few questions.

The creepy thing is that they have all of my information on their data base. I checked out their address from the email and the directory doesn't list them.

Here is the email I got from them:

Scammer! BS text using my first name which means they posed as an employer on CL and now have my information in their creepy data base. The asked me to call 888-272-4818 I did, they said they were contacting me on behalf of an employer who hired them to screen resumes. They  creepily were  able to pull up my info and "verified" it and said that ther company was Employer-Network.com

Apparently, it seems that they phish for information by posing as employers and verify it and sell it to spammers.

What a BIG scam,i also got a text to call me @888-907-0619.Really a bad impression of craiglist.

Good thing I checked with you guys. I also applied for several receptionist positions on CL and I got a text with the same number asking me to call a 888 back.

I got the text too for an office admin job on craigslist. I thought it was really weird. I guess I'm not the only one.

Bummer.  I just got a text from this number asking me to call the same number as Darren, 888-907-4196.  This is also from a Craigslist ad for an Administrative position that I responded to.

Agreed-it's a scam. I responded to an ad on CL as well, but for a Customer Service position. Got the text to call another number (888-907-4196)

It's bull sh*t.  It's just a scam.  I received a text from the same number stating for me to call 888-907-0612 for a driver's position i applied for on Craigslist.  I can't even get a job without trying to be scammed. SMH....
