Got a call from this number. 411.com states unpublished land line in NY, NY. I answered, call was choppy and then disconnected. Tried to call # back ,but always busy. Anyone know who this might be???

I too am getting this call, sometimes 4 times a day! I agree with you Nick; it must be linked to one of the graduate programs I inquired about.

Calls every day but does not leave message.  I tried to call back but the number would not go through.

I just received a phone call from BNK online but no one left me a message. I tried to call back but phone just rings and rings, no answer. I checked the number with a google search and found all these blogs.

I inquired about a graduate program as well and now I'm getting called from this number 2 - 3 times a day. This has been ongoing for about 2 weeks now. Is there anyway to block it?

Tired of the call coming in - leaving no message!  I do not know this number and they should not be calling!

Wondering about the graduate program connection.  i've been looking up stuff lately.  This number calls me everyday at the same time.  One time I was driving in the car...let the radio play in the guys ear.  He then called back.  So aggravating.  I've picked up and said nothing.  And waited for them to speak but they did not.  

They're calling my cell phone.  I've had this number for a few years.  I'd hate to change it.

I applied for a graduate program as well!  They keep calling my work # as I listed it as the best place to contact me. I am in Law Enforcement and and am planning on tracking this as far as I can.

Wow, glad to find out who this number is - They have also been calling me several times a day for over a week without ever leaving a message. I recently started grad school and did do several internet searches regarding grad school over the summer so this seems to be the link. And here I was hoping I'd won a contest or something :) I will definitely be filing a complaint as I too am on the do not call list.

I recv'd a call today from this number as well, no one here has done any type of college searching, but am waiting on directv to upgrade, tech did not call to re schedule friday but did today, and this number came in about 15 mins prior to his 1st call. did not answer

This number calls without leaving messages. Answered today and it was a very choppy call, I could hardly understand with a man asking to speak to me. Then the call dropped. I attempted to call back, and the call was continuosly dropped. This has began since I inquired about graduate school programs through University Alliance. This has to have something to do with it. Quite annoying and weird that someone has my info.

Dont know if this has been covered, but... Bnke is a callcenter im pretty sure many different companies use to field their call load.  They could be calling for any number of different reasons. And they do not receive calls at that number.

I got a call that had a caller ID of BNK Online on my office line.  I answered the phone and he said he was with Sun Microsystems and was supposed to mail me something.  He verified my title, which was probably a guess by how he went through our auto attendant.  I asked what he was sending and he said it was a Brochure and Thank You gift and I asked what it was in regard to since I wasn't expecting anything from them.  He said he didn't know and was just the operator.  I asked him to confirm he was from Sun Microsystems and he said he was.  I then asked him who BNK Online was and he seemed surprised and said he didn't know.  I told him I wasn't interested in receiving anything and he said thanks and hung up.

I have been getting these calls for over 6 months. My cell phone rings for barely half of a ring. Not even enough time to pick up. Sometimes 2 or 3 times per day. It's driving me crazy. No messages. Can't even pick it up. The phone number is "not valid" if you call it back.

I'm really sick of getting calls from this number. They've called me 4 times today! and it's only 3:45pm (E.T)- it's driving me INSANE!!! I'm thinking about changing my phone number just because of how annoying this is getting!! Errrr!!!

I'm getting calls every morning. I won't answer. How do they get our numbers and info in the first place? My co-worker wants to answer it next time they call and mess with them, but I don't know if that will stop it.

I finally answered and started questioning them its Bowling Green Online University.  They have called me several times a day for over a  month.

Called today around 10:30AM.  Caller ID says BNK ONLINE.  Person asked for David.  When I said "No one here by that name", caller apologized and hung up.  The number they called is a land line but is on the Do Not Call List.  For what it's worth, 646 area code is in Manhattan.

I received two calls fm BNK Online today.  Both times, the person on the other end claimed to be calling for "Norwich University" in Vermont. I had made inquiries, with Norwich, in regards to an "Online" masters degree.  The first time, I told the caller (Indian Woman) that I was busy, to call me back.  The second time, the caller (same person) put me on hold, then several minutes later stated the student advisor, at Norwich, was busy with another student.  The woman stated that she would call me back.  She never did.

I just received a call on my cell phone in Kansas.

I have inquired about online degrees but thought the info was from a phishing scam I was recieving checks from.  I reported to the bank and nothing so far.  Good Luck I will file complaint to.

I get calls from this number M-F on my cell.  I try to call the number back and can never get through.  I have even tried on my landline.  I also recieved a letter that said mt personal information may have been compromised in addition I have recieved a check stating I won money overseas.  I gave it to me bank and they said it was phishing scam.  I have recieved other similar checks in the mean time I think there is a connection.

OMG- they've been calling for months now, never leaving a message. Sometimes several X a day. Luckily, the ringer is turned off, as this is our home office line.  So it's only a matter of annoyance & curiosity.  The common pieces to our big puzzle: 1. Verizon & 2. Inquiry about online Masters degree programs. I never get calls on any of my other 2 home lines or my cell. And the office number is the one I always give to potentially annoying companies, for just this reason.  So - my guess is online degree programs.  They HAVE to stop.  I just reported them on the online "donotcall.com" website. LOL wish me luck.

Call several times a day and don't leave messages.  I have this number on the do not call registry.

keep getting calls from them at 430am almost like clockwork. very annoying. and it's several months after these other postings. make it stop!
