You know, the insult to ones intelligence is about as annoying as the fact of the call itself.  

So the DOJ is now doing debt collections?  Wow, what comedown that must be to the feds.  

These people are so stupid, one wonders if they are able to find their butts with both hands.

I also received a message on my answer machine from some one stating they were from the Department of Justice, it was intended for my daughter who is not even in this area,  man with a very thick accent middle eastern accent, very threatening and rude message, i couldnt even understand most of what he said.  SCAM written all over it!!!!!!

I just got a call from these scammers again and I see they have found a new number.  Say my son needs to call them because he took a loan out and needs to repay it.  What a scam I am not buying this.  I hope no one falls for this it makes me so angry that they try to get their money this way!!!!!  Get a real job and quit trying to take other peoples hard earned money!!!!!

Yea, I just received a call from them while I was at work. Bunch of idiots, saying I was going to be put behind bars because I owed $37. At least they could have tried and made it believable. I can see where they might scare some people into it, but rule number 1 is never give credit card information over the phone unless YOU are the one initiating the payment (i.e ordering pizza, calling company to pay monthly bill, etc). Hope these guys get caught and put in jail.

This number keeps calling saying they are from the department of justice. I asked to speak to the person in charge they passed the phone around just to give me to the same person. I called the number back and the voicemail said it was a law firm. When I asked them to send me papers all they would say is they cant and charges are going to be filed and my husband will me picked up. Until the cops knock on the door im ignoring this because they are surpose to show proof.

A guy just called me and told me that he was from the department of justice and i was being sued. I told him to send all information in writing to whatever address they have on record, I would then review it and proceed as needed. He did not like this answer. Every question he asked me I gave the same answer and then he yelled and said that i would be picked up by the police in a couple hours and I gave him the same response, he then hung up on me.... These people are scammers and very bad at their job, do not tell them anything.

they are harrassing me at home leaving me messages and now their calling my work dont know who they are but their accent is a middle eastern accent it just all seems fishy I mean if they cant speak better english i dont want to hear it

Sooo it seems like this is a new number for those scammers. They keep calling and changing their names to real common American names. They have a real heavy Middle Eastern accent. They say I took a loan sometime before Sept 2010, which is impossible because i was out of the country.and then they say i have ciminal charges and im going to go o jail if i dont settle this outside of court. When i ask for proof they say i must pay first and then they will send proof (lies). then when i ask how much it was for, they cant specify. Dont fall for it, dont give these people NOT ONE PENNY
