This is a scam.  I began getting calls from this man named Victor back in 11/2012 stating that I owed a pady day loan.  I thought that perhaps it was from awhile back and I paid them 1,295.00 by Green Dot Money Pak card which is the only thing they would accept.  Now I received a call again on 3/14/2013 stating the same thing this time the call was from a Rick Brown but it was the same person same number.  This is a scam do not pay these people I have since reported them to the FTC, the FBI, my local authirities and the BBB.  I repeat do not pay these gangsters
I feel foolish but I will no longer be threatened by them.  this type of piracy has to be stopped.  The nsmes that have been used are Victor, Rick Brown, Joe Harrison, James Parker and sure there are others.

Contact your local district attorney, and file a complaint.
I have done it before on several instances.
These people are scam artist, often times tied in with false collection agencies, and ID theft rings.
Every state is getting hot on this issue.

There is some thing you can do. As I have done on several occasions.
Contact the fraud department with your local police department, and/or district attorney's office.
They can, and often do prosecute these people. Just be sure the information you give is all true and accurate.

This caller went through my employer to get in contact with me. saying he was an attorney.
My employer called me and gave me a contact number 1-646-8629.
I called the number and a person claiming to be an attorney named James Parker, said I was going to be
sued for a large sum of money, and asked if I had an attorney.
I asked who is the plaintiff, said, "huh" and hesitated for about five seconds, this was a tip off this guy was no attorney, an attorney would not have had to think about it, as though he did not know what a plaintiff is.
Also he had a very heavy mid-eastern accent which did not match a name of Parker.
I told him to take his scam somewhere else, I'm not falling for it. and he hung up with out further comment.

Yea... They called me too and threatened me and my job (Which is illegal)

This is a scam, I called the FBI right away and they hear this alot. I also reported the name, company and number.. plus recorded messages and call to the FTC. and will submit in my complaint to the FBI.

Read up the BBB on them, and it says DO NOT PAY!

this number called me six times saying i had a loan out they were pressing charges mon day morning, suiing me, will be picked up by police. i contacted local police they are investigating this, they told me to contact a lawyer just in case, even said ask lawyer about possible law suit against this so called advanced payday loan company

said i owe 513 or ill be sued for 6,000 i ask for proof of debt they said after i paid them

I keep getting calls from a guy named James Harper. He is threating me that he has called my job & if I don't call him back he will make sure I lose my job & the cops will be called I do owe a payday loan but if this James guy makes me lose my job how am I suppose to pay them back we have tried 2 call him back but it doesn't go through so he better stop harassing me please and thank you and when this James calls it comes up unknow

This is ridiculous....cant anyone do anything about these people.....i was going with it cuz i do have a payday loan out there but i am current with all my payments... and the call telling me i am being sued and that im going to jail for 165 days.... and they had all my information from my social security number to my place of employment.... now i have to alert my bank and everyone that i have people out there that are trying to scam me and fraud me..... which is kinda funny in a way cuz they told me that i had commited fraud when they are doing the same thing.... sh** like this is so frusterating.... why cant they make money like the rest of the hard working people in this world....HAHA it was funny though because first they were calling my cell phone and then they started calling my house phone...well this last time they called i had an officer standing right in front of me...and when he got on the phone they hung up on him....lol..... i have an unlisted number but this people still call.....ISNT THERE ANYTHING WE CAN DO?????

So I got a call from this number saying I got a loan December 31 from some kind of advance pay check and they were going to sue me and they had all my info .they were so unprofessional and a foreign language like from India so I search the number and I found this posts ,so I call back and told them that they were froud and my husband was a cop and right of way  they hung up.their names were one David and the other one Brown how stupid their that 7 days later they  call me tellling me their going to sue me and I went to one office to get info and what they told me is they give you money and advance but you have   to prove how you get your income and copy of pay check and void it check so everyone be aware if this  type if froud.

Tell them your phone line has been tapped and the FBI is monitoring their calls. If push comes to shove, have your phone number changed to an unpublished one.

what ever happened as it is happeneing to me now and all im getting is im going to jail on friday and i need to have an attorney present. all they will tell me is i have a loan i didn't pay back and im going to jail. they wont even tell me how much or how to fix it just that im going to jail

A woman called my cell left a message saying i had 2 hrs to call before legal action was persued. I called the number its a new york number where an indian man who calls himself nick stated that i have a loan out and didn't pay and i was a fraud lady and that i needed to get an attorney and have them at my house on friday as the sheriff would be arresting me and taking me to jail for a minimum of 1-65 days and i would have a fine up to $8000. I asked what loan and how i could pay and he said you can't and goodbye. I called back over and over at least 6 times trying to find out what to do fix the situation and he continually said have your attorney with you when the sherrifs arrive Friday morning to arrest you. Don't know if this is fraud or not. He will not discuss it with me, or tell me what i owe, or how to fix it, just that I am being arrested. Does anyone know anything more.

I received several phone calls from this number even after telling them not to call.  The people do not speak fluid English and are extremely rude.

I received both a call to my place of employment and to my personal cell.  When calling he identified himself as John Lewis.  He threatened me with a lawsuit against my social security number and called me a fraud lady.  Last month, he called himself John Cooper.  I get a series of phone calls from the same individual about once a month.

I got a call from this number and if  did not pay today I would have charges filed against which is scary because I do have a payday loan but not with this guy who is a smart a** and ends his sentences with goodbye but continues to stay on the line his way of making you think no big deal you either pay or charges will be filed well Im not falling for that and I have the proof I need now to know this guy is a liar and he is telling me that he can get me on fraud charges well that works two ways. So we will see Friday how far he intends to push this. he says he is from legal account Assoc. and name is don harrison. he also mentioned he is with the finance crime.

Got a call from some Indian person threatening to take legal action. some scam

They proceed to call me work place and say they have charges against me----it is extremely unprofessional and is very,very upsetting to me! Please help and make it stop!

Been getting calls about payday loans I never received.this is crazy.I've never received a payday loan in my life.

This number kept calling my job. They said i was being sued for not paying my payday loan., which i didn't have. They threatened that the sheriff was going to come to my job. He sounded foreign with a very bad English pronunciation. I called my lawyer who said it was a scam. The guy called himself John Harrison. He was very very rude. When I told him I was recording the call for both the police and my laywer, he hung up and hasn't called back. These people need to be stopped!

I recieved a call the last 3 daya from these people nd the guy wouldnt give me any information whatsoever. Told me I was going to lose my job and go to jail for fraud on a loan I never recieved. Amd told me I would recieve a sopena in the mail on Monday. These people r crazy hateful nd dpwn right out rude. What can I do to make them stop?
