Caller did not leave a message. I beleive the number is based in New York.

I received a call from this number and no message. I don't answer number I don't know, especialy long distantance, they use up my minutes.

I called my cc company.  They advised that the number is that of a scammer, and to please not give out ANY information...

Received call; no one said anything.  Checked online and found that it is a number that is harassing people.

I received a call from 1-646-510-8201 on 02/05/2010, @2:45pm, whom ever it was did not leave a Message as of now this is the 4th time within a 5 month time this same number has come up and same thing no message so i ignore the call each and every-time so my motto is if you can't leave your name & number & brief summery of what & why u are calling i will continue to ignore it.  today's date  02/09/2010

This is a SCAMMER calling.  I went ahead and pressed 9 to speak with a representative. (I hope he wasn't able to clone my phone or pull account information!)  When I asked what the company name was, he just said account services.  When I asked what the actual company name was, that I was trying to protect myself from fraud, I was told, "No need to be rude ma'am.  All you have to do is say you are not interested instead of accusing us of fraud."  Then he hung up.  I tried calling the number back, and got a message that the user hadn't set up their mailbox yet.

Got the call, didnt answer, a message was left with no audio. Next step, report them.

Got the call from "my credit card company" told to hit 9 if I wanted a lower interest rate.  I hit 9 talked to the lady and she started asking what my lowest interest credit card was.  I asked her which card she was calling about and was quickly hung up on...

Got a call from this number but no message was left.

Just received a call from the listed number.  Just like the others, I did not answer it and "they" left no message.

I got a call from these scammers today.  Just finished filing the FCC complaint at http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm

They won't be in "business" for long if we all fill out complaints.

yeah, and it's infuriating too when i've been waiting for a call to fix my
cell phone for a long time now and instead the phone rings and i think it's the phone company and instead it's these jerks! dnc etc... doesn't work.

I got the exact same call. I always hate not to answer, but now I know!

Same as above - credit card interest rate hike without mentioning what card they are talking about. I didn't press any button, just waited for the call to hang up.

I have received several calls from this number for about 3 months. At first I just hung up. Then I hit 9 and told them to take me off their list, but each time I started to tell them they would hang up. Then I acted interested in their offer before I told them to take me off their list. They were happy to listen at first but immediately hung up when I changed the topic. Today I acted interested and the woman started to ask me some questions and I said that I had a little problem that I would like to talk to a supervisor or manager about. She immediately hung up on me. I am going to try to report them to the relevant agency as they are a pain in the you-know-what to say the least. The call today was the second one THIS WEEK!

These dopes have nothing better to do? Got called twice tonight. Immediately came here to see what gives. The people doing this must be dialing like mad tonight...

I just recieved a call from this number now.  It started out saying this call is from New York & there company accepts the phone charges & my name is Sara from your credit card company. It sounded like a recorded message. I immediately hung up because it sounded like a scame & looked up this number on this website to see what was going on.

what the heck is this.  I am on the do not call list.
I don't need my cell minutes wasted on this kind of spam and scams.
Buck up and get a real job.

Automated message that said it was a final notice regarding my credit card. Press 9 to be connected to lower the interest rate.  Pressed 9 and a man answered and asked if I pressed 9 to get a lower interest rate.  I said no, I wanted to be removed from list and I wanted to know which card company he was calling from.  He hung up before I finished my question.

Where are the authorities....????

They just called me & I don't answer calls I don't know. I'm on the do not call list too. These people need to be reported as they have no regard for the LAW.

Call came in my work number and caller ID listed as Cell Phone NY.  Answered and automated woman spoke about lowering my credit card interest rate.  Immediately hung up.

I as well received the call and googled the number and found your posts.  I have a Hawaii phone number, so they are calling all over the place.

This company as called several times at all hours of the day and after I go to bed and before I wake up. I am on the do not call list, have been for several years. The last person that called my home from this number swore at me because I told them I could not understand them and that they have been told to stop calling several times that I am on the do not call list. What can be done about these rude people? Is this a scam?

Just got call from this number. Caller ID "cell phone NY". I almost aswered as I was expecting a call from NY, but realized it was the wrong area code.

I too got a call from this nu,ber. My vm clicked on and there has no message left, just what sounded to be the beginning of a word and a blunt cutoff.

I've been getting these calls forever and yes it is a scam. I pressed 9 and told the woman I was interested just to get her to talk and maybe give me some information. I asked for the company name and phone number so I could call back when I "had more time" and she hung up on me.

I'm trying to figure out why they continue to call back even though I tell them I don't have a credit card.  They just wait a couple of days and call right back.  The voice on the other end always sounds foreign, like they outsourced to another country.
They don't even identify themselves.

I also got a call and didnt answer it thx guys for your prompt posting! Are they targeting an specific area?? Im in arizona.
