Rec'd a text with 2 phone #'s.  I was told to call and when I did, I was told that my debit card, with a bank that I do not use, had been stopped.  They then asked for the card # which I did not give.  Are they really that stupid?

I received a txt. From 933580@vtext.com for me to call 16465241331 or 16465241352 I am on the no call list.

This is a scam call number asking me from my debit card number.

I received the same text. What I'd like to know is how they got my cell number since I never give out to companies. I wouldn't be surprised if it was really 2 scams in 1 where Verizon is selling my number to anyone and everyone who can afford it.

I just got hit as well, and, as always, first thing I did was Google it. This is the second time I received the text. It's a scam. Beware!! Don't call. They also use another number 646-524-1352.

They just texted me to call. Glad I checked here first... I check any # I don't know now. I am going to report it to Verizon, which I've done before. I'm supposed to be on the NO call list but I still get calls (?) Good to know there are people reporting these scammers.

I also got a text from this number about 10 min ago and told to call an out of state number area code (646) & Direct Express written on the bottom, I've read on here that someone called and they wanted a credit card number. Any credit card company would've called personally to get in touch with you and would've also gave a toll free number to call.Scam!!!!

Also got this message. I always delete unknown numbers. I have been scammed before during holidays never respond to tis. If its important from someone you know they'll call you....

Just received this as well. Called the number out of curiosity. I hope no one is stupid enough to give their card number to the robot on the other end asking for it. Fraud :(

I just received a text message from "153580@vtext.com" which says "Please call 1(646)524-1331 or 1(646)5241352 [D I r e c t Express]."  I didn't respond, it looks suspicious.  Looks like my suspicion was right, I'll be contacting Verizon about this spam.

I also received at text this morning, and reported it to Verizon.  Very annoying.  It came from 208580@vtext.com, asking to call either 1-646-524-1331 or 1-646-524-1352.  Losers.

Same here I got the text message to call that number - from direct express. Surely another scam. Glad I checked here.

Guess they're sending it out to everyone this morning.  I just got hit as well, and, as always, first thing I did was Google it and arrive at a place like this!

Yes, I also received a text asking me to call that number. When I called, they said that my debit card was de-activated and they wanted me to punch in the debit card number...
I texted back informing them that I have contacted Verizon and reported this fraudulent activity.

I didn't get a call from this number, but I did get a next from "580@vtext.com800" stating to call it. The text said: [DirectExpress]. Call *and then the number*
