They call from a Los Angeles #, often give a 1-877 # to contact them back yet, they are based out of New York.  They claim they are a collection agency, and want your debit card # so they can debit a psyment. Researched and found complaints under their 1-877 #. When asking the person I s/w questions about their company, etc. the guy acused me of being hostile. NO- it is just that there was something fishy about him calling, wanting me to recite a debit card #, could not give me a address to send the funds to, and then copped in attitude when I questioned his motives. Peope BEWARE and ask questions, and if they refuse to answer or get LOUD, refer just say you will have an attorney contact them, then they go away! =)

Received a call threatening that I was being sued in a civil case.

The caller knew that they were not talking to me directly and was told that I no longer lived at this phone number.  They freely gave this information of me being sued to the answering party.
