Caller ID showed Verification Dept; I didn't answer and no message was left. II don't use the Opt-Out function because that tells telemarketers and scammers that they have a working number.)

They called me too..what I do is click the phone on speaker phone and let just give up and they eventually hang up. Do not make a sound while doing this.

The caller ID says Verification Dept. The only thing they are trying to verify is if you are stupid enough to give them your personal financial info so they can then proceed to rip you off and ruin your life.

Simply call the number back. You'll hear a recording and have opportunity to put your # on their Do Not Call list.
