I received a text message from this number with a link to access to address a "debit card issue". I did not go to the link because it is obviously a phishing scam. Other than posting here, does anyone know where I/we can report this? I assume it is illegal.

Called B of A, Def a scam.....phishing scam to anyone dumb enough to type in ur account number.....beware!!!
This is also my second strange text for a bank scam this week. My first one stated it was First Savings Bank, an audio message, followed by a text message with a more local number the very next day. Will see if this scam follows the same pattern. I reported the first audio message to the National Do Not Call authorities which you can do for audio messages even if you are not on the National Do Not Call List. I also registered my cell number.
received same Bank of America text msg from 215266

I've never used western union prepaid anything, def seems like a scam to me
Some unknown entity sent me a text message telling me to call up that number followed by the name, Western Union Prep Issu.
My wife and I each received text messages an hour apart (around 5:30 PM on 3/2) from this number. What is the text number that shows first 'email@example.com'? We aren't very technically oriented so I wondered if this was the scammer's web address or something similar. They left a message about a critical technical issue with our bank debit card. When I called, they asked for all the pertinent info. Like I was going to be dumb enough to give it to them. Call my bank to verify if it was a scam and they agreed. Glad I found this site sort of by accident.

I just got a message from this number on my work cell and then also on my personal cell. I called from my work phone and they asked for my Visa/Debit card number to reactivate. It's a total scam. Is there any way to stop this or report it?
