I got this text message from this number:

"I need the following in my store and their cost very Urgent so kindly get back to me now. payment would be made by check, if accept kindly get back to me. your full name and contact address so that i can make the payment

I sell Mary Kay so I'm assuming they got my number from my website but I guess this has been happening a lot more often lately. Be carefully everyone!

This group seems to call about this time each year. Message always the same. Has a name like Harry Jones, Alan Smith, etc. but clearly is from India or somewhere close to there by the accent. Not prejudice - but just stating the facts. Freaked me out as I know I have nothing outstanding and just want them to stop. Often times I have tried all times of the day and night and get no response.

Here is another number: 718-841-6477 (he said that when you call back ask to speak to Cody Foster) and the man has an accent as a person from India, and very bad to understand.  Claims to work for DCA Law Office.  To make you believe it is the NYC DCA (NYC Department of Consumer Affairs, Office of Financial Empowerment)

I am an employer and just got almost the same message on one of my staff.  I tried to return the call to inform HER that if she continues to harass this person at work, she will need an attorney.  Sure prosecution isn't an option since they sounded foreign.

Rec'd a voice mail message from this clown.  Stated his name is "Officer Erik Smith".  He shouted and yelled very loudly.  Demanding I return his call.  Stated the issue at hand is time sensitive.  Caller ID showed a 6 digit phone number, but he told me to call him back at this number.  He had a very thick India accent.  He then called back about 5 minutes later, leaving another shouted message, only told me to call back at 718-841-6477.  This guy is a scammer and it will be a cold day in he!! before I call him back.

Same here I work for the governemt also.. Who can we contact to have these phone calls stopped or blocked

I am having the same problem... They are calling my job and leaving these messages on the voicmail so everyone can hear them.... I need this to stop, but everything that everyone is saying so true... I didnt go to work because I was afraid they was going to come and arrest me.. Please help

Got a call from 646-580-3624 the guy said his name was tony almeiza and said they had an urgent legal matter to talk with me is what they told my secretary when I used the other line phone line in my office they ignore the call it went to a voice mail, I also called them from my cell phone but I used *67 so I come up as unknown and again they ignore the call. I called them from line one at the office which is the number they have to get a hold of me, they answered right away, if they are really an attorneys office they would have more than one phone they are just trying to hurt hard working people struggling in this economy

just got a call from a female who did not speak english very good.from  Nicole Allen she works for a company called dept corp affairs law based out of new york city. the number she gave is 646-580-3624 was wanting me to verify my ss# and bank account i asked her who she was working for she said it was for a payday company called cash partners america. She could not tell me when i got this loan, all she could say is that i owe 5,000 dollars for what i don't know. The fact that she called my place of employment was unacceptable. She than asked me again to verify my ss# and bank account number when i refused she told me to hire an lawyer and she was sending cops to my door to have me arrested. I called the number back and asked for the details of this company and a man kept telling me that they were located at 42 broadway, New York, NY. I looked up that address and could not find the law office they were calling on behalf of.

I just read this story and i got the same call today at my place of employment. It scared me because i worked for a government agency and they were telling me i need to pay so much money to a loan company i have neverer heard of a day in my life.

This is just another scam originating out of India.  I fell for it once.  Reported it to the police, FBI, Attorney General of my state and the FTC.  Each of them told me these calls were scams either to shake the person down for money or trick them out of their personal information.  Do not answer the phone if you do not recognize the number.  Report them to the agencies listed above.  These people are pond scum and it's not worth it to engage them.  My suggestion would be, if you decide to answer the phone, blow an air horn in their ear!!!

same thing happened to me. kept calling about a payday loan and taking me to court. the guys name was tony halmeyda, transfered me to nicole allen. wanted $1095 dollars today, or else $5000. tried to get it out of my bank account. had to cancel the account. please do not give into it!!!!!! called them back and told them i was recording the conversation. they hung up.

I recieved a harrassing call from a Shawn Parker, he had my work, home address an old e-mail address I had and stated I had taken out a payday loan from cash partners.  Had never done such a thing. Wanted $1095 today or I was going to be served papers at my work and home and my employer would also be served papers. I would also owe over $5,000 if I got served.  They are coming to my work and my house at 11:00 on Monday morning.  Good luck and God bless.  They told me.

Yep, these guys use different numbers from different area codes, but its always the same guy.  He doesnt even use my name, its always a different name.

If you tell him its the wrong number, he'll get offended and ask for your personal information.

I told him if he called again, I'd file a complaint with FTC, etc.  and he said the FBI agent was next to him.  I asked to talk to him then, and he got real nervous, apologized and said he wouldn't call again.

6465803624 is a number tracked back to a scammin group that feeds off of internet advertisment by hacking into a larger data base from other online websharers. Usually from people who apply for local loans, apt finders or anything website that ask for a clients information in order to aid their search in a larger data base that branches off and finds other websites that ads or promoters match the similarities in the search. Scammers will creates websites that mimic those ads/websites and will recieve general information about the clients and will then make up excuses to capture or recieve their personal information. By doing this they will call you a numerous times addressing that person, such as yourself and will address you with an issue like you owe them money on an internet loan, or a bill, some say they are a Law firm or just sell you with a product. And they will continue to call and harasse you or the indivisual at home, on your cell, or even harassing calls at your job.I hope this is not effecting your work or any situation in your life? But scammers don't care.

All I can say is to try and block the number, you can file a complaint, you can try and misguide them and lie by saying this person doesnt exist. I hope this helps. and good luck.

A Shawn Parker called me at work today then again on my cell phone.  the number is showing up as 0000 he said that I had taken out a pay day loan with Cash Partners of America, which I have not, I told him that I had not taken out a loan, he insisted that I had, I told him that my attorney would be contacting him, and that he was to stop calling that I was reporting him to the FBI and he didn't care, he stated that I would have legal papers sent to me tomorry at 11:00 he refuesed to give me a case number, when I started asking more questions he got flustered.  this is a SCAM do not give them any personal informatin

This person Nicole Copper, can't understand her, keeps calling.  They are harrassing me at work, saying I took out a pay day loan with Cash Partners of America (which I've never done) and didn't pay it back.  They are going to file Federal charges against me, and someone is coming to arrest me at my work.  Now that I'm reading the others, I'm realizing these people are complete scam artists who are now affecting my work life by calling me at work. Say that I owe $5400.00, for a loan of $1595.00 online payday loan.   When she called back and I said that "Nea Welch" was not here, she asked to speak to my supervisor, which just happened to be at lunch, and she said will you please have her supervisor call me because it is serious and Nea is going to be arrested at work tomorrow.  Glad I looked up this number because now I know its a SCAM!!!!!  I am calling the police to report this.

I have received numerous phone calls from them also with the same message as everyone else. It is not the first time I get these phone calls.  I reported the last number to the attorney general.  I am a legal secretary and that is what my boss told me to do.  So for all of you who are getting these phone calls, report them to the attorney general.  I called them back and told them that I had reported them to the attorney general and some guy with an indian accent replied "have a good day" and hung up.  It is very upsetting.

Same as the other post I read. They called and harassed me and said I took out a loan when I didn't. This is the second time they have called. It needs to stop.

these people have been calling me for some time now, When I ask them to properly ID themselves or let them know that I"ve contacted the NYS attorney Gen office they hang up. I call and harass them as they do me and get get quite frustrated.

Same thing as the rest, Jeff Peterson last week and Oscar somebody today.  Heavy Indian Accent and saying is going to have me arrested in the morning.  Gave me address of a house on West Broadway as the address for the company.  Totally bogus bunch...have reported them to Atty General, say there is nothing they can do, especially when Vonage and the other computer companies allow you to set up accounts with area codes outside of their own...OY!

Same as the rest-calls my cell and work phone and then threatens legal action, HOWEVER they will never send any paperwork and tell me my attorney has to contact them-which is BS....so tired of these calls.

These people keep harrasing me they need to stop. No warrants never been in trouble with law. This is a scam.. THey are trying to olice have tried and get credit card # or checking account info.. Big add ran in paper explaining this.  GEt a job people quit stealing other peoples identity....thanks they need to be arrested for harasment and theft.  They call form a call center and transfer call several times cause police have tried including the texas rangers which i was threaten with the first time they called and I contacted them and they started an investigation.

Yes, I also received the same call from the same number and he left a message at my place of work and tried calling my cell phone -- He identified himself as "Eric Schmidtz" with an Indian (hindu) accent.  He stated that I better returned the call or else and if I did not return the call that all he can say is "Good Luck".  I am trying to get them to stop calling as I have no international businesses and I have not idea what this is about and they are now harassing me at Work I
