repeated calls

Called tonight, it was an Indian sounding gentleman who was asking for "Dave". I've had this number for 25 years and I'm not named Dave. When I told him he had the wrong number he wanted to speak to the "owner of the number", I told him I was, he wanted info that I would not give, did finally mention he was from a "mortgage" company. He eventually hung up. I agree, do not call lists are apparently useless.

This number called repeatedly while I was on the phone with a friend, no message was left.  I appreciate the previous posts because now I know not to answer if they call again, or to block it.  Blocking works!    My number is on the Do Not Call List and yet every day I get several calls.  Guess the list is meaningless!

A person who said his name was Alex Martin who is a loan officer called.  Started asking me about mortgage etc. He had an Indian accent.

A person by the name of Alex Martin called said he was a loan officer.  He spoke with an Indian accent.  He wanted confirmation of my mortgage amount.  I hung up on him.

These people keep calling asking for "Shawn".  I am not Shawn, have never been Shawn, and have told them at least 100 times that I'm still not Shawn.  I have told them everything from, "I paid the house off" to "it burned down" to "I just refinanced."  Nothing works.  These idiots even hang up on you once they feel like they're not going to get to talk to Shawn.  Love this sort of business.  Wish they'd get drunk and play in traffic..

This number ha called our home over 20 times in the past couple of weeks.  We have repeatedly askes them to stop calling us & to out us on their do not call list.

I keep getting calls from this number. They say the can modify my mortgage and that is federal assistance.
