They keep calling saying they are going to sue me. Left a message with my SS# and bank account number, but will not give any other information. They all have a Forgein Accent.

Got a message from a Justine Williams at work after I left on Friday, 9/24/10.  Don't know if she had an accent or not as one of my coworkwers took the message.  I've been getting numerous calls from Indians-as in from India-all claiming to be debt collectors from paybay loan companies since June of 2009.  They don't work this way.  They either send you a letter in the mail, or they will call you and leave you a message of who they are and why they are calling.  As far as I know, they are also violating the Fair Credit And Collection Act.  They are also very threatening in they way that they talk to peoply.  They threaten to have you arrested if you don't call them back.  PLEASE, DO NOT give them any information, or even call them back.  This is all a scam.

John Smith he has a judgement and need to collect the money but would not give me any info as to who he was collecting the money for

has called me at my job and on my cell for the past year now about a freaking payday loan. I have told them to do what they have to do if they have anything on me like that. nothing has been done and they have continously called saying i'm going to jail or they are going to sue. a bunch of foreigners with american names, yeah right.

A man with a very heavy Indian accent called and stated his name was James Smith.  He told my wife that he is from LLT or LLC (hard to understand) and that I would be going to jail tomorrow if she did not take care of it.  She told them we do not owe anyone money and he sounds like a scam.  He called from 975-100-6963 (which if you call back is a non-working number) but told us to call 646-626-6118.  We have contacted the IC3, police and the Attorney General for our state.  Do NOT give them a penny...they are scammers!!!
