Rec'd a call from this number about a week ago on my WIND cell number (area code 647).  I DO NOT answer calls I don't recognize.

Sorry to say but all cell phone numbers were made public and it is too bad that the people that are calling us in Canada are abusing this.

I received a call from this number, it's telemarketing company telling me that I won a free cruise to the Bahamas. I just hang on those calls... Scam alert!

It's not the 1st similar call i've received but this is my business phone and i do some business in the states... can't just ignore calls from numbers I do not know :( Very annoying!

They didn't "get" your number. They use an auto-dialler to call numbers sequentially or randomly, that's all.

I have received this call on my cell nobody-knows-the number phone, supper time.  Didn't answer.  Know nobody with 646 code and don't want to pay for longdistance phone calls.

Yup, they just called me in Nova Scotia. I'm with Bell Mobility. Didn't answer!

I'm with Bell in Western Canada and recieved this just today. I don't think it's unique to Rogers customers as I don't have any service with them.

Called my cell phone...don't know how they got my number.  I live in Montreal and did not pick up...left no message.  There has been an epidemic of telemarketers...we need someone to stop them!!!!

I just received a call from this number - this has happened now on several occassions where the caller does not leave a message and just hangs up.  I called the number back and an automated voice message comes on stating; "that the user has not activated a voice mail message"... OBVIOUSLY, this person has too much time on their hands!!!!!

PS - I am also from a 416 (area code), Toronto, Canada.

I received a call from this number May 7 at 3:30pm. I live in Kingston and I have Virgin Mobile. I called the number from my work phone and it said:   'I'm sorry the person you are trying to reach has a voicemail box that has not been set up yet. Please try your call again later. Goodbye.' .. then it disconnects. I wonder what they're selling?

Got a call yesterday at 17:48 I don't know who it is. When I receive a call on my cell.and i don't know who it is I don't answer ! I've been getting a lot of calls lately ( Where did they get my number) !

I just got that call and I'm with Public mobile.  Answered and stayed quiet.  All Iheard was air.

I have a telus account and they just called me.

It's a call mentioning we win a cruise without mentioning the name of their company. Please hang up. They are a pain in the neck. Keep calling at least once a week no matter which kind of wireless telephone your have. I'm with Rogers.

I'm in Montreal and Bell Canada in my carrier. Got 6 or 7 call in the la st month. Spam who tell you you are selected for a free cruises in the Bahamas.

Vancouver - I'm on Rogers and I get these calls quite frequently now. I hate it.

I think it's random, when you answer... it's mean your phone is active, once they know that, they will sale your phone number as an active one ... then, you will receive other calls from marketing company ... that's why they never answer when you respond to their calls ...
